I bought a used Land Rover and wanted to have a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Everyone was great, up front with the price and easy to schedule with. Highly recommend!

Like so many other car companies - JLR does what they can to force you to go to their dealerships. In this case, for a replacement key fob - $475 for the fob and $250 for programming. You can buy the fobs from 3rd parties for $200-300. But good luck getting them programmed. I have yet to find anyone other than the dealer who can do it. The programming only takes a few minutes - so comes out to about $1,000 per hour. Such a rip off.

Why Land Rover would let this dealer stay part of RR is beyond me. Dirty, rundown, and just plain gross. See sample pics taken while I waited for service. (Note, I flew to Charlotte to purchase my 2025 RR)

My experience was like none other . I brought my RangeRover in for service and was treated with respect not only was my car taken care of the work that was needed was done in a timely fashion. I was kept in the loop on everything that was needed and if there was any doubt I was shown what would be done . Given me an understanding of what this team of mechanics go through . Once shown the extent of work needed to finish my vehicle. I was in no hurry because I knew it was being done correctly. Great job .

Purchased a used 2017 Land Rover Discovery from this dealership in October 23. They had just done major work to replace turbo. New turbo starts to fail one years later and now needs total replacement. They told me this is a known issue with these cars and I have to pay $5,000 as the warranty just expired. They lied to me when selling me the car and now wonât do anything to try to make it right. Worth the drive to another Land Rover dealership

I scheduled my appointment Saturday morning about 10am and sent an email using the service email provided in my confirmation to ask a question ahead of the Monday scheduled appointment. I havenât received a response to that one yet. I should have expected what followed.
When I arrived for an oil change and inspection, I also asked a service tech (Jeff) if someone could take a quick look at my key fob, as the key had fallen out. He responded with, âUh, I donât know. We donât work on these older cars.â I was surprised by the and lack of follow-up, such as offering to check if it could be repaired, replaced, or sent off. I let it go and mentioned Iâd take it elsewhere.
Given the impression that your dealership doesnât work on older vehicles, I took an Uber home ($18), drove my Jaguar to another dealership, and informed them Iâd be bringing my Range Rover there for any necessary repairs.
Later that day, I received a text stating, âYour 2010 Range Rover Sport health report is ready.â I assumed this was just a diagnostic report, since I was told you donât service older vehicles. I took another Uber to pick up my car ($10). However, upon arrival, I was told the vehicle had failed inspection and was presented with nine recommendations, including the following reasons for failure:
⢠Rear tag light replacement
⢠Rear drive shaft replacement
⢠Left wheel bearing replacement
When I asked who would be doing the repairs, I was told your team could perform them. This was confusing, as I had been told earlier you donât service older models. I was then given a different explanationâthat you typically donât, there was a meeting where they said you wouldnât, but because Iâd been there before, you could, and also that a new tech was being hired whoâs good with older models. The shifting rationale made it difficult to know what to expect or rely on.
By that point, I had already made other arrangements due to the original information given. I was also told the car wasnât ready and would be done by 5pm, requiring another Uber back home ($23), then another trip in to pay, followed by yet another Uber to retrieve my vehicle ($21).
I later took the vehicle to another shop, where I was informed that checking the drive shaft is not part of a Virginia state inspectionâcalling into question the necessity of that $1,770.54 recommendation as a reason for failure. And to be clear I donât have issues with the prices. I knew what to expect when I purchased a Range Rover and a Jaguar.
Overall, the experience was confusing, inconsistent, and costlyânot only in terms of time and transportation but also in trust. For these reasons, Iâve decided not to return to this dealership for service on my Jaguar or to consider purchasing a newer Range Rover from this location.

Worth driving 45 minutes further than the closer Rover dealer - this place is that good. 10/10. And your mind will be blown how clean they will return your car - whoever does detailing at this place is a rockstar.
