You really need to train your employees on how to be truthful
Went in today when I got to the register was told with I had to pay with card cause she didn't have change. Unacceptable
Luckily I had exact change.
As she opened the register I heard AMPLE AMOUNT OF CHANGE JINGLING and CLANGING Inside the register.

No one available to make a purchase. No one in the store as of 1230 this afternoon . Went back ten minutes later, still no one. Tried again, a few minutes later, and the doors were locked. It happens REGULARLY at this location. I won't shop in Family Dollar now, because they are unreliable and they don't want to serve any customers.

This store is always closed during normal hours of operation. Doors locked in the middle of the day on at least 3 different occasions over the span of like 6 months.
Don't go here and potentially waste your time, just go somewhere else

Was just turned away at 8:35 because they said they were closed with people still inside and I checked the hours and they don’t close till 9 . Very rude and I will not be back

The store is never opened lights off and everything! No sign on the door if you’re going to be closed temporarily at least have a sign on the door so people don’t keep coming back to see if the store is open!

I went to the hidenwood family dollar, tonight 7.14.24 it was 8pm and once again they closed early with a sorry sign on the door? customer's were pulling up only to find that once again this store closed before 10 pm wow that's not good corporate office not good at all!

I 1st called to see if they had any white to go containers. The young lady said yes. And informed me that they close at 4. It took me 5 minutes to get there. Once i got there i looked and looked couldn't find any. I then asked the manager on duty. She had a bad attitude then she asked the girl at the register did she tell someone that they had to go boxes. Her answer was no. She flat out lied. Bad customer service. It's thanksgiving nobody don't want to be running all over Newport news for boxes. This store was family dollar in hiden wood in Newport news ; Virginia
