I regularly read reviews but never post. However I must share the good word about this pet store. Jeff is very informative & passionate about pet nutrition. You gotta go and neet Notorious D.I.G, the friendliest cat in town!! Launching a grand opening this weekend, I plan to stop by weekly to grab what I need for my special tripod doggy.

New owner, new business model. Jeff the new owner/operator is very helpful and friendly. I recommend buying your dog treats etc. here over big name stores and supporting local business!!

I love all the fabulous products for animals and outstanding customer service! I bought my Sweetie a new harness, matching leash, and a toy. We both left happy. Definitely best store of its kind in RVA.

For The Love of Pete is the cutest little pet store on Libbie and Grove! After reading Emily B's review below, I decided to come here and check out the dog booties because one of my dogs, too, has been slipping on our hardwood floors. I loved browsing through all of the cute items. There's seriously something for every pet and pet parent. The young lady who helped me out was super nice and we ended up bonding over our dogs as well as us both being pregnant haha. I'm so glad that I came in to check it out because it'll definitely be on my list of places to go while in the area!

My boy Jake loves to go to see the staff and pick out a Bully Stick to carry with him. They always greet him with a smile and give him a choice of the goods. Jake and I love this store.

My family and I have loved this shop for a long time. I knew from my last dog that they have an excellent dog sweater selection which miraculously helped us find the perfect fit for my latest chihuahua Ginkgo, who doesn't fit most sweaters well. Also recently scored some doggy birthday cookies! I look forward to coming back with Ginkgo soon � thanks for the love of of Pete!

I visited here a while back when I'd returned home to see my sick father. My little dog Wilson loves going there and he's been outfitted with some wonderful collars and coats!!
