I am beyond frustrated with this mechanic. I went in for a simple oil change, and immediately after driving home, my brakes started making a roaring sound—something that wasn’t happening before. The next morning, I woke up to find my car leaking oil, which was never an issue before.
I brought the car back to them and explained everything, but after nearly two full days with no communication, I had to call myself. They told me they’d have an update in 20 minutes and that it would be ready by then. Instead, I received an estimate for over $1,000 worth of repairs. Keep in mind, I explained the oil wasn’t leaking before the service, but they just kept insisting it was a “broken cover.” They didn’t even seem to consider that their oil change might have caused the problem.
What’s worse is they weren’t even willing to take responsibility for any of it, only agreeing to cover a small part of the repairs—yet that still wouldn't fully resolve the leak. This place used to be amazing; I’ve recommended them to so many people because of their great customer service and unbeatable prices. But I just can’t see myself coming back after this.

I will never have my vehicle serviced here again after what happened to my daughter and her horrible experience with this company which could have host her much more than money, but her life as well. Approximately two weeks ago, my daughter was scheduled to have her vehicle serviced for breaks,but a few days after she began to hear noise, which was alarming to her. She then noticed Hilliard Automotives and stated she wanted to bring it back in to find out what the noise was. They told her they test drove the car and didn’t hear anything that everything was fine.
So, my daughter left Hilliard Automotive and took the car to another mechanic shop because she could still hear the noise, heck I could hear the noise from her car when she drove off from my house, so I followed her to the other mechanic shop.
We both arrived to the shop to check her breaks and was told her breaks were on backwards and she also has two lug nuts missing from her tires.
We were both shocked and grateful nothing happened to her while driving her car.
So we went back to Hilliard Automotive with paperwork from the othe mechanic shop showing her breaks were on backwards and photoes of the lug nuts missed from her tires
We spoke with the owner and he admitted her lug nuts from the tires were there, but yet he failed to notice my daughter that she was driving around with just 3 of the five lug nuts on her tires and apologized for the service she received, but at the same time my daughters life was at risk due to the negligence of his employee.
We will not be returning. Not only did Hilliard Automotive loose my daughter as a custome, be they have lost the business of my household, that’s 3 vehicles.
Never go there, it’s too risky

Hilliard is the only place I trust with my Rig. I love my truck so much and with over 200K miles, it needs tender love and care. I trust these guys because they always tell it to me straight and if work is truly needed, give me a FAIR deal.

I can't recommend this shop enough. Not only is their work excellent but they really care about their customers. I've gone in for oil changes, full inspections, even had them go over my daughter's car after an accident to make sure she was safe to drive. They have my full trust that things are done right each visit!

Replace my cars fuel pump and solved a lot of issues with the way it runs by doing this....did a wonderful job and did the annual inspection on it and even check the air in my tires....great job as always
