Absolutely love Parlor Salon. Mahri did my daughter's hair & she left loving her hair & feeling confident. Mahri educated myself & my daughter on how to properly care for her hair. So thankful we found such an amazing stylist. Everyone in the salon were absolutely fabulous! I would definitely recommend Parlor Salon for all of the amazing curly girlies out there!

Parlor is the best salon in Richmond for textured and curly hair! I’ve got very long, very thick, very curly hair and have been coming to Parlor for 1.5 years now. Mahri and Kasey have always done a fantastic job on my cuts and color. I’d trust any of their mavens with my hair and will keep coming back as a regular. Would and already do recommend to my curly friends!

Mahri was sensational, and the staff was so reasonable and easy to work with. I went to Parlour on Main by accident. They were so nice/patient that I still got top service with the time left. During the cut, Mahri gave me great pointers for my particular curl style. It low key felt like getting instructions from a cherished family member. I love my cut; thank you Parlor team!

I can’t say enough good things about this salon! Mahri has helped me maintain my curls for over 5 years now and I definitely have her to thank for how healthy my hair is. The entire staff is so kind, caring, and talented! I 10000% recommend this place to all my curly/natural folks for both cuts/styling and color!

I have visiting Parlor and specifically Mahri and Rachel for at least 12 years now. They are amazing at what they do. If more than 5-stars was an option, I'd happily give it.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars as they were incredible. Mahri gave our son his very first haircut and so many helpful tips and tricks for managing his curls. Not only did she make him feel so comfortable (he sat on my lap for about 45 mins without even the slightest of protests), she was so welcoming and supportive of my wife and I as well. I can say without a doubt, will be excited to continue to come here as our go to spot!

I absolutely love this place and had the best experience. I did a huge chop and had Shanti as my stylists and I adored the work she did. She was super thorough, friendly, and did an amazing job explaining what maintenance would look like for my new haircut. The shop is also super inviting and is visually just a super fun place to be in. Everyone who worked there was very kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place is you have curly hair, I tell all my friends about it.

Shanti is MAGIC!!! She listens to what you want and delivers! Love this place, the people, the vibes and atmosphere are on point! & Billy is the cutest, furriest, 4 leg door greeter in all of Richmond. Can’t wait for my next appt!

Case did an incredible job turning my 4-year-over-grown mop into the light and bouncy cut of my dreams. I expressed to Case that I was hoping to get a layered cut that would help my waves come out on the upper layer, as that’s typically dead straight and difficult to style. They took so much time, carefully working through each section of my dense hair, thinning, layering, and making sure the sections fell gracefully and feather like- rather than in thick chunks.
My hair has held its bouncy waves all day from my am appointment, and I know it’s going to look incredible with a spritz and scrunch in the morning. I cannot express how thrilled and thankful I am to have found this gem of a salon.
I would also like to say I was pleasantly surprised by the cut being $80, I have paid as much as $120 at similar salons in the past!

I surprised my spouse with an appointment here after realizing I could no longer use my amateur skills to maintain their curly hair. I asked around for recommendations, and repeatedly heard great things about this salon. We were not disappointed! Scheduling was very easy, and even included a quick text consult to get a feel for what kind of look my partner was going for. From everything they told me, it sounds like they had a perfect experience. They came home absolutely beaming and feeling confident, and of course looking so good! Thank you Shanti for making it such a wonderful experience, you have a very happy customer :)

My fiancé and I both go to get our haircuts with Kasey and she is absolutely the best in Richmond! She is so incredibly kind, and always talks us through exactly what we want for our hair, and the best way to achieve it.
