Great place to get really nice lighting for a good price. They have really unique stuff and their inventory changes pretty frequently! I've replaced almost all the builder-grade lighting in my home with lighting from the Decorating Outlet and I couldn't be happier.

Obviously they have some great stuff and at great deals. I honestly don't know who you have to be to get someone to help or acknowledge you, but no one has EVER asked if I needed help finding what I'm looking for. That said, it's always worth a look when In need of lighting.

I haven't been in this store in several years, but visiting it today I was shocked by the selection and condition of the store. Maybe it's about to close-up, but it looked like a cyclone had hit it. There wasn't much of a selection to begin with (I was looking for a pair of buffet lamps) but what they did have, which mainly seemed to be parts, were strewn about on tables like a really sloppy yard sale. I remember a store with all sorts of decorating items, none of which I saw today. This was never an inexpensive store to begin with, today I saw one beautiful lamp reduced to $310, but there is no excuse for the condition of the store or the condition of actual items, which all appeared to be in poor condition. It wasn't worth stopping in and the nearby antique centers all had better selections and better prices.

I love shopping here! They always has lots of fun things to see! Their light fixture selection is so good! Very different from Home Depot or Lowe's or even the light store on Broad. Best part, besides the cost, is the help. They are not only knowledgable about what fixtures they have and how much light they give but they are very professional, pleasant and couldn't be more supportive in my efforts to find matching fixtures. I would highly recommend this shop! Sue O

Erin and Jen were so helpful! I arrived with a list of items to get for my new house and had no idea where to begin. The more information I shared with them the easier it was to make decisions. I showed them pictures. They made thoughtful recommendations. The selection here is constantly changing and they knew exactly where to direct my attention. I will definitely return!
