I used the drive through and I thoroughly disliked the experience as you interact with a person on a tv screen (who doesnt even look at you when speaking) rather than ‘face to face’ as is the case with most other banking drive through institutions - thus eliminating any resemblance of a personal interaction that the credit union once prided itself on…pretty sad….

I’ve been with member one for 16 years! They are great bank to use! I haven’t had any trouble with them, only a couple mishap within the last couple months! The staff did their job and handled everything properly and respectfully! They will try their best to make sure the problems are resolved, and kept smiles on their faces and were patient!

The worst ever! They let frauds steal your money from them and then they refuse to give it back or hold it for ransom. I will never do business with them again.

Not a good place for your money. Not ant consistently with any of there policies. People are hateful to you on the phone and say they are doing something and you have to check behind them . Sux

Donna Harvey is the best, bought a jeep and she has helped us with that loan and few other financial things !! I'm soo pleased to be able to call her and she helps me right away. Calls back promptly!! I have no complaints at all !! She's the best!!!

Disabled parking blocked by Loomis. There's only one teller and there's an extensive wait. Been here 30 minutes already and still waiting for someone to help with my debit card. Teller has limited info and unable to help. They really need to figure out another system so that people aren't waiting in the teller line if they need someone else or another department. This is my second time coming here and it was a disaster when opening an account and the same while trying to get my card. Ashley was amazing. She went over and backwards to help after I finally got in to see her.

Poor customer service. The person who answered my call for a customer service question and was extraordinarily rude. I would not ever use this bank in the future.

Be careful. Thier bill pay is actually 3rd party farm out. Bill are sometimes paid late, reflecting on customer and when CU answers your call, they wash thier hands of it, transfer you to outside vendor bill pay, your call will be droped and I don't mean droped sometimes, I mean each time. I have seen money leave my account for a payment and yet not received by creditors for many days. Iv been with this entity, by another name, since high-school, now, many decades later, I'm actively taking actions to leave them behind. This has been my experience since Fed 2023, your may be diferent, but it's been mine and you can't get to a senior manager, leaving, leaving the end result. Best to all.

I went in for a simply inquiry about a new debit card and somehow that translated into the bank teller BLOCKING my current debit card. Which is irreversible apparently? She never asked or anything, I just went to use my card later and couldn’t. Now i have no access to my money and have to wait on a replacement card. After several useless phone calls I would not recommend handling any transactions here.

I had an issue with a disability claim on a vehicle loan. I called the Hershberger Road, Roanoke VA branch and had the pleasure to speak with Melissa. She helped me through the entire process. I don't know what I would've done without her.

I chose this bank thinking it would be a better experience and at first it was.Lately (for the past 3 months), my account incurs frequent NSF charges even when all transactions and deposits align and are cleared. And anytime I call in about them, I am given the lecture of posting, pending, and transmitting as if I don’t understand how transactions and processing works.If you want to dispute a transaction be prepared to have your card replaced verses funds stopped or reimbursed. And it takes months to receive a replacement card.If you choose this bank just make sure to be vigilant about depositing, transferring and withdrawing. And if ever there was a dispute at hand, be prepared to figure out another way to obtain your money.I’m learning that after deposits I’ll just remove my amount so there won’t be anymore mix ups.Banking should not be this costly nor stressful.The workers I have come across are helpful for the most part.
