January 2025 by Louise Williams
I am a new tenant as of 2022, November of last year, 2024 I had a shoulder replacement. Coming out of the back entrance if the complex, I tripped and fell. Landing in the dirt. Reason for stripping, the pavement(walkway is uneven). Landing on my chest and during everything possible to keep the impact off the surgical right shoulder, still under the doctor's care. Also, I have a left hip prothesis. That could have gotten knocked out of place as well. I reported this fall to the rental office, no one have gotten back with me also reported the fall on Franklin Johnson website. Still no response. Stripping on the uneven pavement brought knowledge of others that have been injury and it's the same story, trying to find a contractor to repair it. There are tenants here that uses canes, walkers, etc. Elderly tenants. What if my shoulder gotten busted out of place and the left hip prothesis? The Orchards, do you really care? I heard about an injury that happen on that same uneven pavement. Oh, there were others that saw me fall. And I am doing a letter with pictures of the uneven walkway for to be put in my files in your office. So, Orchards, if you care about the well-being of your tenants, fix the uneven walkway. It's an liability. Don't let a visitor stripped coming out of this building. Rutter Mills would love this injury case. I had the reverse shoulder replacement November 11 2024, stripped December 2 2024. My surgeon too have record of it. Okay, The Orchards of Belleville, let show everyone you care about the safety of your tenants. You all had a month to respond. If I don't pay my rent, your response will be faster than lightening.Treat your tenants the way you wants to be treated. I will make an easy suggestion, that will hardly cost you less than $200, kindly put a sign out there that's says, Please watch your steps, that you may not break your neck..Happy New Year, The Orchards of Belleville.

My name is David I recently moved in to the orchards April 3rd 2023 my rent was 800 within 2 months I get a notice that going up to 900 I don't understand there policy I thought I was locked in for at least a year I do not recommend this place for anybody My belief is they knew about the increase when I moved in and did not tell me about it there's no way they could have implemented that increase in less than 2 months Somanagement or corporate doesn't like my response or my comments Management or corporate don't agree with me nothing I can say I would give them no stars

It's beautiful there and from what I've been told by the resident I visited, very affordable. I also like how secure it is and that you can't just going walking in and out of the building. The decor is nice and the placed smelled great to me!

Overpriced, poor management and the smell is terrible. Look for housing elsewhere
