The veterinarian here is excellent — knowledgeable, compassionate, and clearly cares about the animals. However, my experience with the office management was less positive. While not outright rude, the tone was stern and not particularly welcoming — perhaps efficient from a business standpoint, but not patient-centered.
My biggest concern was the policy around treatment. I brought my dog in for a hot spot and was surprised that treatment was done behind closed doors (and strongly executed) . I was told this was due to insurance restrictions, which I found odd. Then, after purchasing the prescribed medication, I was not allowed to take it home. Instead, I was required to schedule a return visit (over $100) just for them to apply the cream — and then yet another visit for a third application.
Frankly, I believe I’m capable of applying ointment to my own dog. This approach felt more like a business strategy than a medical necessity. After many years of bringing my dogs here, I chose not to return. I’m simply exhausted by having to constantly push back against policies that don't reflect basic, honest, old-fashioned service.

I’ve been coming to this vet for some time now, and every experience has been great. The people who work here are some of the most kind-hearted individuals I’ve met. They work with your budget and listen to your concerns. They’re very clear when explaining the procedures they recommend as well as the price before doing them. They’re so sweet to my cats as well, which really eases my nerves when they get taken back for an examination. When one of my babies passed, they were very empathetic through the whole process and even sent a sweet card in the mail. Much love to everyone who works here! ❤️

I have been a client with this practice for 20+ years. The lead veterinarian (Dr.L) and Office Manager have worked together since the practice opened in Verona. When I have to take one of the fur babies in, I never feel rushed and always heard. I have the utmost trust and respect for this practice.

Me and my wife took my dog Saturday night for an Injury she had. They took X-rays and gave her a shot and some take home meds everything seemed to be okay 5 hours at the office and 700 dollars later.
The next day (Sunday) my dog isn’t eating nor drinking she can’t move without being in pain I called to see if there was any side effects to the medication that would stop her from eating and drinking, THE RECEPTIONIST REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO SPEAK TO ANYONE!!! She told me to come back in and pay an additional 170+ to get her to be seen. In tears and my wallet hurting I told her I do not have the money for another 700+ dollar visit and I wanted to speak with a vet or vet clinic to see what can be don’t until my vet can see her Monday. She became very disrespectful towards me resulting in me lashing out on the phone. THIS PLACE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS!!!
THEY ALSO DIDNT SEND ALL THE X-RAYS I PAID FOR TO MY VET EVEN AFTER CALLING THEM TO SEND THEM THE PICS WE STILL ARE MISSING 1 additional X-ray.
Here is the note and the date we was in so nobody can say we don’t have records!

We had to rush our Shih-tzu to this hospital on a recent Sunday, and upon arrival, the team quickly brought Zoey in to be x-rayed.
Their expert care revealed what we knew: it was time for Zoey to stop suffering.
In their loving and delicate manner, the vet techs and the vet on duty explained to us the process and gave us all the time we needed as we put our dog down.
Upon picking up Zoey’s ashes, we were given a paw print of Zoey’s in plaster of Paris, as well as a handsome container for her remains.
Just a top-notch crew at this hospital! Thank you. Thank you!

If you want a veterinary office that places more value on the office operation that loses visit records than your pet, choose this one. ADDED: As you see from the response to my review, this clinic ignored the FACT that she was seen in the office on May 26, 2023 because they did not enter the visit into their computer. My cat was found by another vet to have severe liver disease, enlarged gall bladder, and pancreatitis where this office refused to give Sweetie an appointment for compassionate care and demanded that I find another vet after labelling me a liar with problems. Wholly incompetent and despicable.

I am so pleased with this Vet. Every single staff member is sweet and caring. My dog had 4 tooth extractions and they kept me posted and cared for him as if he were their own. They are all wonderful!! I'm so glad I chose this Vet.

My husband and I took our dog there since we adopted it, unfortunately the two vets that work there had different opinions about our dog allergy condition which made us spend a lot of money, since one vet prescribed one treatment and the other said that should have been a different treatment. Once we had to take our dog to the emergency and even though we had all the paperwork saying what our dog needed, they wouldn’t prescribe the medicine for our dog before we spent more money on the same exams we already paid for at the emergency clinic. I don’t normally write reviews, but I just wish we had a good experience, but it was not.

We were desperately trying to find a vet clinic that would do a walk in rabies shot. They saved the day! Every employee was responsive and considerate. We will definitely be coming back!

The vet tech was excellent! I have a border collie mix that is an excellent farm dog, but is very anxious, which is a normal trait for the breed. Vet visits are difficult. When I made the appointment for a rabies vaccine I told the receptionist about the issue and was reassured that they could handle the dog. The vet tech came outside to administer the vaccine and talked through each step. Wonderful!
