What a special spot. Very European-style, curated menu in this sweetest village of Waterford (English countryside meets upstate NY.) Estelle and Sarah have created the perfect marriage of beautiful homewares and thoughtful meals. I cannot overstate enough how much you *must* visit this gem. It’s the culinary, experiential escape Northern Virginia needed!!

A must if you are visiting Waterford, nearby towns, or traveling through Virginia wine country! The food is inventive and delicious. The ambiance of the store and town can’t be beat, and everyone who works there is warm and will treat you as family. Even if you can only stop in for a cappuccino and chocolate chip cookie, it’s well worth it.

The food here is amazing! The chef, Estelle, is a wonder in the kitchen. From her charcuterie boards to the many in-season dishes that she creates with locally sourced produce, it really is impressive what she can do. I have eaten here a few times with friends and family and you really can't go wrong. The cozy store atmosphere and view of Waterford's idyllic Main street is icing on the cake.

Rotating weekly menu is always inspired, scrumptious, and full of local delights. The ambiance is perfect and the aesthetic is to die for. The whole team is truly at the top of their game. I literally love it there and think about their quiche constantly.

Beautiful items in the store. Got some local honey. Coffee was nice and oat milk was available. Having wine out on the patio is very pleasant in the afternoon/evening. Beautiful shop in a beautiful town.

Food was good, we would recommend the Farro and Zucchini Salad on a hot day, so refreshing. Lots of local products which were reasonably priced. Cute place to sit outside and enjoy the summer weather on their front porch.

Very nice and lovely place
We loved the way they have Nicely decorated
Lovely service very very friendly
Food was absolutely amazing, uncured sausage hot dog which was superb
My wife and daughter had a nice plate with cheese and hummus which was out of this world
Price was very reasonable
Coffee was superb as well
Thank you so much for the lovely time we had

Stopped by for a last minute gift and the owner helped me find something special. I tried a croissant too and found it was very well made. The store has many fine things to choose from. I found the experience too pleasant and will return again.

If you’re looking for a friendly shop, that is welcoming to local visitors, this is not the shop for you. The owner sold us a piece of furniture that was being held for us until our home was ready. After measuring the space- the piece was a little tight so we asked if a refund was possible. After learning it wasn’t- we communicated that we would come pick up the piece regardless. We consistently shared that we would pick up the item we paid for. In that time, she proceeded to sell the item to a new seller regardless of the item being sold to us. We never gave permission to sell our item, we consistently shared that we did not want a partial refund and we would come get it (as soon as we were able) Besides this experience, the owner is unfriendly as were the other employees/helpers. We absolutely felt like we were crashing a party we hadn’t been invited to. It’s unfortunate because the town is adorable, but not interested in outsiders.
