Very impressed with Louis the first time I spoke with him! His knowledge is second to none, and does excellent job explaining things. After our discussion, I called the very next day and started my rifle build, which I'm certain will be awesome.
Looking forward to getting on the range after rifle is built, and will drop update after it's completed. I highly recommend Louis if you are looking for a long range precision rifle.

If you’re looking for a top notch Gunsmith, look no further. This .22ARC is the 4th rifle I’ve had Mr. Wood build for me. Every gun that he builds is done with care and the absolute best parts are used in his builds. I don’t think I’ve ever shot a rifle more accurate than the ones he’s built for me.

The owner of the store was ultra knowledgeable and very friendly. The custom work I had done there which was to add a vertical grip to a pump action shotgun, due to a messed up left wrist, was top notch and very reasonable priced. I would highly recommend this gentleman for any gun needs as his expertise is 2nd to none.

The gentleman that owns and runs this shop is the nicest and most knowledgeable gunsmith in this area. He does amazing work for a very reasonable price! He has gone WAY above and beyond any other customer service that I've experienced in this area. You will not regret letting this gentleman build or fix any gun related issues you may have.

Lewis is the full package when it comes to gunsmithing. His work is perfection which he clearly takes pride in. I spoke to him on the phone about what I wanted, we set up a day to come by and do the paperwork and pick it up! It was ready to go when I got there with exception to additional things I wanted done last minute and he took the time to do those items immediately! The rifle was done exactly as discussed! I would recommend Lewis to anyone who wants their rifle built to spec. The icing on the cake is he stands by his work, hence his untarnished reputation!

Mr. Woods is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to firearms that I have ever met in this area. He is also one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. He took the time to explain things about the shooting sport and firearms that many take for granted. I would definitely recommend him for any of your hunting, sport shooting or specialty needs. Awesome place and equally awesome man.

After a long and no luck search for a 35 whelen bolt action and of course talking to everyone I knew, I got a lead on a small custom shop here in the valley. A friend from work had told me about LBW Specialty shooter supply. That visit made the rest of my year, as soon as I pulled up it was a smile, handshake and come on in. Mr. Wood is an absolute pleasure to talk too and a wealth of knowledge. After Mr. Wood was ever so kind enough to let me shoot his Eleanor, I started rethinking my caliber choice. Eleanor handled like a dream, the trigger broke clean and crisp every time, the bolt... again clean and crisp every time Mr. Wood give a smile handed me a couple more rounds of 300WM, telling me to try the little target's, Eleanor didn't disappoint. It was then I learned what precision or at least a Glimpse of what my build would be, a clone of Eleanor. I urge anyone looking for custom precision gunsmithing and or rifle give Mr. Wood a call.
