Imagine if your friend owned a full blown auto shop, charged you reasonable prices but had almost no time to work on your stuff. They're absolutely great at the jobs you could probably do yourself if you didn't mind dragging out jackstands, disposing of used fluids and crawling around on an ice cold carport slab, but it's hard to get them to do much else. And if you take your car there for a state inspection, make sure you don't have so much as a dead bug on your windshield. On a positive note, they helped me overcome a bad case of nostalgia-induced blindness so I could send this hoopty back to the pit of Hades from which it came.

First I want to say my family has taken their cars here for years even my dad did before he passed away and always felt they did good work and fair prices but I went in to get car inspection June 23rd I knew it needed a headlight and door handle driver side and had to get headlight off ebay cause they don't make car anymore. They said about charging double labor since not using their parts which I said was fine but then get a call few hours later they said headlight i had didn't fit and told them I bought off ebay and ebay said it did so they didn't put it on but charged me for taking old one off and putting back on ( when I got home I was able to put that headlight and used old wiring instead of new one they send and everything hooked up fine and worked was upset about this but just thought maybe guy having a bad day) and supposedly fixed the door but after I left the shop the door stopped working like old one did so I went ahead bought another one from online to have them put on and they charged double labor again. Whats the purpose charging double labor if your not going to honor what you supposedly fixed the first time they blaming the part I got was defective and didn't use there part so they charge double labor, no I know the part was good and in good working order before they put it on obviously the guy who worked on it didn't put it on correctly so it ended up breaking again and then want to charge double to fix again. Ended up paying double labor twice cause they couldn't fix right the first time. All I can say my family will never go back to this place again to get work done we will find another place. Sad how much this place has gone downhill over the years

I trust the mechanics to give me a real price. Not the inflated prices that some mechanics do.Good customer service and honest people work there

People’s Garage replaced my front brakes. They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and did the job well but their prices were pretty high for the work. $675 to have the bearings, rotors and brake pads replaced. I appreciate that they got me safely back on the road, but I’ll probably go somewhere else next time.

Great, very helpful. My daughter's brakes had a problem and we were able to get in on a Saturday and he was able to fix them within their Saturday hours. Great experience.

I had my car inspected at another place and was told failed due to control arms needed to be replaced and would cost them 900$ to fix.it’s Friday before Christmas and I was suspicious of the quote cause car rode fine.also tried to scare me about not driving car. My coworker told me about peoples.they checked car thoroughly under several times and found a lot of dry rot but arms were fine.they’re cleaning the dry rot off and inspecting it again for quite a bit cheaper.you’re my angels have’s this old lady a lot of pain.
