I've developed a significant arthritis issue with the MTP joint in my right big toe and need new footwear to lessen the pain. The many options at Fairhaven Runners were all high quality. The staff, especially Evelyn, were extremely patient and knowledgeable in helping me find an excellent choice. An extra bonus: it feels great supporting a local, high quality business.

The team of associates really knew how to 1) listen to what our specifications were, 2) measure our feet with care, 3) guide us patiently, letting us take all the time we required to compare various shoes and fits, and 4) make the whole process so easy. In short, nothing like any other shoe store we’ve been to.

These guys are seriously thorough walked in with daily foot pain months ago and through their help I have minimal pain now, and can work out a lot easier. Don't put off the pain like I did these guys are amazing!

Lovely store with even more lovely staff. I was helped by Emily today who made me feel welcomed, heard, and understood when I expressed the difficulties I have faced with the running shoe world as someone who has high arches, a bit of over pronation, and plantar fasciitis. Emily was very patient, she went above and beyond for me, having me try over 7 pairs of shoes to make sure we got the perfect fit and she was willing to keep on going if necessary! I ended up going with the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 pair. Thank you Emily for all you did today!By the way, this store is dog friendly! Just be mindful of how your dog behaved in busy areas as their store can get quite busy at different hours of the day. If your dog does better in quieter spaces, go to the store closer to when they open or in the middle of the day like 2pm where you don't have to worry about a lunch rush or afternoon rush from people getting off work.

I had never been to a place like this. My podiatrist recommended after a foot injury. The staff were so supportive and flexible. I never felt rushed. The prices were totally fair to what you find online, but the return policy here is profound. I must have tried on 6 or 7 pairs of shoes and until I had decided what was best for me the staff member was willing to keep going. I am very impressed with their knowledge and customer service. Highly recommend.

Very positively minded team, who works very hard to ensure that whatever the challenge you are pursuing, whether it be running, walking, or racing they are going to work hard to find what is right for you, and they know that everyone is different, so they carry a wide variety of shoes, gels/drink mixes, and gear!

I bought my running shoe at this store. I meet chase he is very helpful for what I am looking for, staff is very friendly too. my personal running shoe for day to day basis he help me to find what is the best for my foot since my foot it's been hurting while running. Staff at this place are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They have the latest model of most popular runners like Hoka, Brooks, Asics, etc. and they could order if not available in their store. Highly recommendable.

Outstanding. Knowledgeable. Patient. I absolutely love this shop. I won’t buy shoes anywhere else if I can help it. I’m a difficult customer because I have a chronic condition that I have to wear a prosthetic device to correct. Every customer service expert that has helped me year after year has listened carefully and done their absolute best to accommodate my needs. The staff are amazing. Brian, my genius shoe fitter today was amazing and I’m so grateful for his patience, knowledge and perseverance in getting me into a comfortable shoe with such a difficult device to deal with. He was so kind and I really appreciate this shop for everything it brings to the lovely Bham local community. Thank you for making me feel special and not disabled.

Today was my first visit to Fairhaven Runners. Connor helped me find a pair of shoes that was perfect for me, and he even brought out another color which was brighter and more fun because he thought I might prefer it to the color I'd originally chosen. He was right! Every employee was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience!
