Good service and great location close to everything. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, room is very small and basic, full size bed is the default, can get quite loud at night on the weekend. Train is very loud and will wake you up. Window sound proofing is

The hotel is not great. Cleanliness is an issue. Nights are loud due to nearby music venues, nearby well used train tracks, and people on the streets. The rooms are basic, nothing special. Good food within walking distance. Downstairs bar was lively. People actually reside in the building as well, so that’s weird. Maybe they should go back to apartments only.

This place is dated yet nostalgic historically. Is located downtown Bellingham close to everything you need. Did not stay in the rooms but the lower level shows room for improvement and upgrades.Walkability: Great downtown site.Food & drinks: Good apps and drinks.

What a wonderful find! I stayed at The Leo for 3 nights on a work trip. What a classic vintage gem. Beautiful common areas, the Amendment 21 bar is straight out of a golden-era Hollywood flick. My bed was super cozy, and my room spacious and Immaculate. Patrick was gracious and upgraded us to a suite with a kitchenette. 5 minute walk to some great spots in DT Bellingham. If I had to find a flaw it would be the bathroom is tighter than the modern standard, but the extra space elsewhere in the suite makes it more than manageable. Highly recommend! A cornerstone business in a revitalized downtown.

The front-desk staff are kind and accommodating, the bartender is very friendly, great staff and atmosphere. The Hotel LEO is located in the literal heart of Bellingham. Not only is this a historical hotel, it is also kept well and located up the street from GRUFF Brewing, Makeworth Coffee, Fiamma Burger, AB Crepes and many other Bellingham staples. Events take place in the city on a regular basis, and this is definitely the hotel you'll want to stay at during. There will also be LIVE performances here soon.

Hotel Leo is the best. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and well updated, and the location is central to great restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops in downtown Bellingham. Not just dog friendly but welcoming. Hotel Bar/Restaurant Amendment 21 is also great spot for cocktails and bites. Leo is our first choice in Bellingham and offers everything you would want out of a stay.

Stayed overnight for work and really enjoyed this hotel. It *is* an old building and the pipes clank a bit, but that’s part of the charm for me. The staff was super friendly and gave suggestions/recommendations. Restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and residents of the building (it’s also an apartment building) were friendly in common areas. Easy walk to a lot of bars and restaurants. I felt safe walking alone after dark (avoiding alleys etc). Slept with window open (it did get warm) and was amazed at how quiet and peaceful it was overnight. Would def return.

Stag was great. Very attentive and helpful. Hotel was like a vintage timepiece that brought us back to a simpler time, yet had all the modern amenities one could want.Price was a little up there, but overall experience was enjoyable.Location is fantastic, right in downtown and nearby a ton of of worthwhile visits (driving or walking)
