That car lot has ignorant people about our laws and rights. So they can take your money and send it overseas.

MAKE THIS RIGHT, DORY. In June, my daughter purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 from Dory at State Street Motors in Bellingham. She drove it home that day and the next day drove to Pep Boys to get an oil change. They refused to change the oil because they said the truck had very low oil pressure and they could hear a “lifter tick.” She brought it to another mechanic in Mt Vernon who said the same thing and told her to return the truck. She was told by both places that the vehicle was UNSAFE TO DRIVE. She contacted the dealer telling them what happened and that she wanted to return the truck. They said there was no cooling off period and refused to take it back, but to bring it in and they would look at it. She brought it in to the dealer and they told her they changed the oil and that their shop would change the lifter, and for her to bring it in the following week. When she brought it in she was told the guy who was supposed to do it broke his arm but to leave the truck. She picked it up the next day from the dealer (who claimed to have had it at the repair shop to be fixed) and the tick was gone for a short time (adding thicker oil can mask a lifter tick, we've learned) but came right back. She contacted the dealer again, and they refused to do anything further with the truck. She then talked to the shop that Dory claimed had fixed it and they told her they had not even seen the truck. She brought it back to the Mt Vernon mechanic, who told her there was also a major leak in the oil system, and the brakes were seized and nearly completely worn, truck was unsafe to drive. She spent 2k on an emergency repair. Now the oil pressure light is back on, and the mechanic is saying the engine needs 10k in work. This dishonest business has completely financially devastated a young girl trying to get some much needed transportation to get to work. She now has a loan on an vehicle that was unsafe to drive when it came off the lot and no way to get back and forth to work. On the other hand, Dory and crew probably made a nice profit and are on to take advantage of the next unsuspecting customer. I have since talked to several other people who were scammed by State Street Motors. Buyer beware!

Got financing into a vehicle in under an hour. Dory is pleasant to work with and is professional. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for a quality used car.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Dori really took good care of us. As a mom shopping for a vehicle and having kids in tow, can be a tough one. State street went above and beyond for our family.

I recently purchased a used Acura MDX from State Street Motors. They were offering the vehicle 1000.00 below the market value, so I drove up from Seattle to take a look. Everything looked good, and when we did the paperwork it was even better!! They didn't add any additional fee's to the loan, and got me a good rate with a local credit union. I was able to test drive and purchase the vehicle in one hour. I really appreciate the straightforward sales process, its hard to find these days. Very nice people, great service, and family owned, I highly recommend State Street Motors.

After many days of looking at vehicles, we finally found what we were looking for here- an MDX in excellent condition. Dory was a fantastic help, not pushy at all, friendly, honest, easy to deal with and really made the car buying experience smooth and enjoyable. We recommend this dealership to anyone looking in the area. We will be back in the future if we ever need to buy again. Thank you Dory!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LEMONADE STANDMy elderly mother and father were ripped off by this dealer. Just like many others in their previous reviews of buying a lemon they saw a good deal on a low mileage 2013 Rogue for $11k. Don’t be deceived. Not even 60 days of owning it the transmission began to fail. They took it to Nissan where it was $7k+ to fix. The vehicle has less than 90k miles mind you. We called and they offered ZERO assistance was basically like see ya you’re SOL. Such crooks. DO NOT BUT FROM HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER.We will be further investigating this matter and WA implied warranty if they want to continue being an operating licensed dealer. These are terrible business practices ripping off good honest hard working people. You all should be ashamed of yourselves!!
