Have 2 exceptionally trained horses that Ruben Villasenor trained. Highly recommend.

Pricey. Much of the facility does not have shelters for the horses, pens are small, many are very unkept and horses are standing in filth, water troughs are filthy with algae and training is marginal, in my experience. The trainer would also throw rocks at the animals when they did something he didn’t like.

Ruben is awesome. I had a new horse that I got and realized he was too much new horse for me and I didn't know where to start. He broke through my fence, I called Ruben and he came to get him.
Rubens approach puts the horse first. He is treats the horses with respect and knows how to speak their language. He has retrained my horse from bad behaviors taught by previous owner. He trains their minds and doesn't force them into bad situations.
After Ruben worked with my horse, now he is training me. He is helping me to learn how to successfully communicate with my horse. I have rode horses my whole like and he is teaching and showing me new things that I never knew before.
Paying for is knowledge, help and professionalism is well worth it. And I would do it again!
