I went there with gold and silver which they advertise that they buy and I was offered less that 25 percent than what the going rate was per ounce of silver. The excuse was that they had to make something off of it too. I would think that making over 75 percent off of something that isn't yours is right next to robbery. I only knew that I was getting a horrible deal because my partner had told me around how much I should be getting for the silver before I went there. Not to mention that I ended up selling a couple grams of gold to them not realizing until I got home and told my partner about it that I ended up getting less than half of what is was worth. I'm so disappointed in this place I can't even believe they consider themselves anything but crooks. Even a pawn shop would have given me more than what they did. I wish I could go back and get what I sold them so I could take it somewhere that doesn't prey on people that aren't knowledgeable about the prices of precious metals. If I could I would have given the Manette Trading Company 0 ?. To think that they consider themselves reputable is ridiculous to say the least. I hope that my review will reach someone and stop them from going into this store especially in this dreadful time when people have so little as it is and places like this count on people like me to make there living nice and easy on them. Sitting around making more money off of other people's things than they do is disgusting and lazy.

They list their items on OfferUp so I expect to pay asking price. But when you get there, it's a business and you pay taxes. They should have advertised full price or list as business, so I would bother to begin with.I wish OfferUp would have a filter for businesses.

This place is great! Lots of great vintage knick knacks, dishes, records, jewelry - I could have spent another hour digging around. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well.

Don't sell your valuables to this place, try anything else first or give it to goodwill since at least you can get a tax write off. They will pay you pennies and sell for hundreds.

Don't sell to this place, they will really rip you off! Might be nice for buying something, interesting items, but know that they have paid pennies for what you are buying for hundreds.

I currently live between Bremerton and Los Angeles and Im not only am in the vintage business but a big collector as well. I have a particular interest in oddities and sterling jewelry. Manette Trading Company in Bremerton is one of my favorite stops to find a treasure. You never what you are going to find but vintage, antique, or newer...it is going to be interesting! The owner Mike and his girlfriend Tonya are great folks as is Mom who also helps run the shop. The owner specializes in silver and some gold jewelry and has a great eye for both men and womens vintage to contemporary jewelry....and his prices are crazy reasonable! I highly recommend adding this unique store to your junking stops when in Kitsap County! In addition to selling - the owner is a big collector and has several cases of crazy cool oddities and antiques on display.. and everyone is friendly and fun to visit with.Check out this cool ring I scored which is a favorite....Pacific NW Indigenous Sterling Ring featuring "Tsonokwa" AKA "The Wild Woman of the Woods" a PNW Tribal Deity to the Wealthy and Powerful also known for catching and eating misbehaving children! HAHAHA! She can also appear in male form and is then known as "Geekumal!" How cool is that?

If you're looking for antiques in the Bremerton area, Manette Trading Co. is a great place to peruse. It's bigger than it looks. From the outside, it appears to be on the smaller side, but once you go in, there's a lot to take in. Make sure to spend some time in the back and there are a lot of cool knick knacks and toys that you won't want to miss. On top of housewares and decor, they have a big skeleton that I was naturally drawn to as well as a big rotating statue of Elvis commemorating his life throughout the years. So really, there's something for everyone. Plenty of parking, and it's next to some places to grab a bite to eat or drink if you just so happen to be looking for a way to pass an afternoon.

The people there are so nice. I went in to sell some misc. Items and they spent time going through it and explaining to me about what i had even though they weren't interested in most of it. I recommend them to all of my friends and family!!! 10 ⭐
