One employee really stands out amongst how busy they get. Lexi, the one who most likely will answer your call, is always so patient and sincere. It's hard to be patient when you are busy and have worked a long day, but somehow Lexi always manages to answer the phone with a kind voice and a ready-to-help attitude. “Prior to appointment: I requested an appointment and completed the physical history survey all through their website. It took a couple weeks to get a call back. The website communicates that they process appointment requests in the order of when received, so when they call, I recommend not missing the call or getting back to them ASAP.
Scheduling: this was straight forward, they call and you hash out scheduling. Leading up to the appointment many reminders were sent, via email and text, according to my preferences selected when I did the online survey.
Appointment: in my case, with what I wanted out of this appointment for my dog, i’m extremely satisfied. The provider did a thorough review before determining what medications to prescribe, they checked in with me throughout the assessment to ask questions about my dogs history as well as to answer any questions I had or to clarify things I wasn’t understanding. Once the provider completed their portion I was informed of their findings and the discharge plan.
Post-appointment: once payment was handled I opted to receive the receipt via email, they provided a printed copy of the discharge plan and one was emailed as well.

“I have been boarding with Tacoma Cat Hospital fairly regularly for the past two years, and I recommend them without hesitation. The price is right and the accommodations are solid: cat condos and a play area for cats who are so inclined. They work with your feeding schedule, keep track of whether or not your cat is eating and using the litter box, and will contact you if there's any concerns. What sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are competent and truly seem to love and understand cats. My little girl is a spicy a**hole, and the staff here understand that and take it in stride with a lot of humor. They manage to maneuver her in and out of the place without being shredded to ribbons (I think the oven-mitt-like gloves help) and even manage to charm her with catnip and pets. I always feel so at peace knowing that my kitty is in a place where she is cared for and understood.”

“Was able to come in early due to the text option. This is a great way to communicate with customers who don’t answer phone calls immediately. My experience with my dog was amazing and really quick. “You have great vets. However, it seems like they're often overworked and that there's a high turnover rate. In addition, different colors would be quite soothing instead of fast food colors, lime green and orange. We drive an extra 45 minutes to go to a Banfield that is not hosted in a PetSmart.”
