Over the past years I've gone to several different auto repair shops in Federal Way and have not been impressed with their being very honest, ethical or knowledgeable for my 2000 Toyota RAV4! After paying for an inspection, Northshore Automotive is the first shop to send me photos with detailed descriptions of what is needed to be serviced. I still had questions & the service Manager Nick spent around 1 hour total answering my questions on the phone and by email! With all of the knowledge he shared with me, I now trust them completely. Northshore Automotive also offers a 2 year warranty on larger services needed. Their customer service and warranty have now gained a loyal customer. I highly recommend them!

I posted a poor review about Northshore. Nick reached out to me to see how he could resolve the issue. Part of the issue was communication between the shop and myself. The resolution was for some of the diagnostic fee to be applied to the labor for the repair. I understand the necessity of charging a fee but it would be helpful if the customer was told that some of the fee could be applied to the cost of repairs. That would alleviate the fear of being overcharged. I

I'm not wasting my time or my money using these people again. I went in for preventive maintenance to the shop. It was completed and 9 months later I'm at Mercedes of Fife, actually getting what they messed up fixed. I wouldn't take my Big Wheel there for them to fix. I'm so unhappy

Nice front desk staff. Alleged repairs needed? False. Not saying all, but definitely a lot of milking your wallet. Was told something was completely broken, and needed to be repaired.. turns out that wasn’t true. Was a part of it, at a much smaller price. Glad I took it else where for other opinions, after already feeling myself, then being told the first time.. got completely done over on what was paid for my first experience with them.
Understand the business side of it, doesn’t mean completely screw over people on price in a time of need. Will go farther being less greedy.

I have always had a good experience with this mechanic. Responsive, reliable and give good feedback when service is needed. I recommend them since we use them for our 3 vehicles plus they stand behind their work. Pricing is comparable to a dealer but I would rather give my business to a local company when I can.
