Love their store but have often wondered why they don't make their outside south wall facing the post office a bit nicer, easier to look at? Not to mention that the all the paint on the siding above that horrible black wall is peeling off and shedding on parked cars....?

Beautiful art gallery in La Conner. If you are visiting La Conner there is really no reason you shouldn't visit this gallery. The art is a selection of various forms of art from local northwest artists. There is sculpture, glasswork and lots of paintings. The gallery has two levels and many very large impressive pieces. There was a class going on while we were there so I assume that they do classes on a regular basis. There is an elevator at the back if you need one and in the middle of the main galleries an impressive spiral staircase. The gallery store is quite large and a good place to find some interesting gifts on your travels.

Art by local artists captures a lot of the local "flavor" of the northwest. From historic to modern, sculptures, paintings, and mixed media pieces all on display for free!My teenage son and I spent a good amount of time enjoying all the art pieces. Highly recommended to all.

A gem of a museum with Northwest art icons like Jacob Lawrence and Walter Isaacs. Stunning exhibitions by the best contemporary artists. The gift shop is chock full of art by local artists and there is a good array of fun books for adults and children.

So glad we stopped by! It is a free, 2 level art gallery. The permanent gallery is upstairs and downstairs they have seasonal exhibitions. We were lucky to have caught the last day of Alfredo Arreguín exhibition. I have never heard of him, but his patterned paintings were absolutely mesmerizing. Honestly the most amazing art I’ve seen. The gift shop also had a lot of unique items. Will be back when passing through La Conner!

It's difficult to overstate how important this institution is. On my visit, I got to experience the exhibit of Dan Friday's works, and the museum gives many people their first or only glimpse into the importance of Native American art and artists in this region. It's a beautiful space, entry is free, and there's no downside to stepping through the doors. You'll be glad you did.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here at the MoNA. I have been dealing with Chronic Fatigue for the past year, so the idea of any museum at this point makes me incredibly nervous. I was able to engage with the art on both the smaller-sized/medium sized first and second floor without feeling exhausted. The art itself was so engaging and relevant that I almost forgot I should probably sit down soon. I'm grateful to have experienced such a beautiful gallery as I haven't been to many museums in quite a while. This is definitely a place worth checking out. It's free, but donations are welcome, and the lady at the check-in desk was quite a lovely soul as was the lady on the shop side. When visiting LaConner, I recommend making 40 minutes of room in your schedule for this beautiful place.

Beautiful free museum. There’s only two large rooms of art, and a gift shop so you can likely do it in an hour or so.
