Best gumbo....Ever. Big shrimp 5 or 6, lots of sausage, okra, rice and the roux was outstanding. My wife had the harvest salad and it too, WA delicious she said. Friendly wait staff and fair prices.

We got to the restaurant very late. It was 8pm when they were closing doors and they still took us in. We had amazing service and delicious food. The staff was very friendly and we had fast service. I highly recommend this place. The best fried oysters we ever had. My husband standards are set way too high now for oysters due to this place.

Wonderful food and service. Lots of menu choices to suit anyone's appetite. Fast, friendly service. Building acoustics were a bit loud for family dining but we truly enjoyed our experience. Will definitely go back for more!!!!!

We ordered the fish and chips and asked for extra crispy fries. The fish had no flavor, and the fries were not at all crisp.

I didn’t think you could mess up a taco salad but they sure did! It had clumps of unseasoned hamburger meat that wasn’t even enticing to my dogs. My friend got the crab melt and said the same thing…completely flavorless. We’re extremely disappointed because we picked this place based on others reviews and it was a huge let down!

We checked reviews for best restaurants in Long Beach and this sounded good.Not disappointed at all!Great service, very busy spot with fun atmosphere and plenty of sports events on TV screens. Gin & tonics were very good, service super cheerful.We ordered the flash fried calamari....Yummy!Hubby ordered prime rib dip and loved it. I ordered Shrimp Louis salad that was loaded with shrimp, bacon, and all the other stuff that belongs on it. You get a lot of food!Would definitely recommend this spot.

We visit the peninsula a few times a year and make a point to visit Lost Roo. Best family restaurant in the region. There were 6 of us on this visit and we were seated within 3 minutes of arrival on a Saturday night. Full, efficient, high quality, killer value and clean restaurant. Our server Kristi provided the perfect experience.??????Bonus: I was a vendor in this restaurant years ago, when the current owner was the general manager. 1st time there. I had burger and fries daughter had salmon sandwich both of us had a salad. A REAL salad. Prompt pleasant service at a reasonable price. All the elements of a great lunch. Will be back.

This was one of the best places I have eaten in quite some time, We had the flash fried calamari (so delicious) appetizer. Entrees was the shrimp Louie, which was loaded with shrimp, bacon,fetta,olives, and vegetables. Lastly, the prime rib dip will make you hurt yourself. This was the best dip sandwich of any kind I ever had. This is a must stop.Parking: It's not a very big parking lot and because this place is so busy, if you don't get lucky, you will need to find street parking. No worries, there's plenty of free street parking.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids and adults

So my son just gave his girlfriend a promise ring, so we wanted to celebrate. The place was crazy busy. We were seated quickly. Our server greeted us, but it took her a minute to return and get our orders. But she acknowledged us. I asked for no tomatoes, but my dish came with tomatoes anyway. When the server noticed, she did offer to take it back. I had never had calamari with peanut sauce, but it was fantastic for an appetizer. The kids got loaded nachos, and it was huge! The lava cake and creme brulee were great as well. I would recommend maybe not on a holiday weekend next time.

Excellent service by Alex, food was tasty and delightful. After we ordered, the lights went out but the food was served timely and we were updated that they would be able to complete our selection except for the garlic fries. They offered us chowder for no extra charge. The steelhead dinner was extremely tasty with a full portion, and my prime rib sandwich was full with a nice bowl of au jus. It was a great experience and one of the best meals we had out in a long time.

First time trying oyster shooters got a free souvenir shot glass had a great dinner and drinks wish I had room for dessert. But there's always next time. There's plenty of room so even if there busy stop in. Worth it.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options subbed gluten free bun on a crab melt so yummy
