This gym is a joke now and basically not worth it anymore. The only therapeutic hot tub around Richland with 1 jet that is very inconsistent in its pressure and is a joke most of the time. There is only 1 therapeutic jet in the entire hot tub and I usually have to share it and spend twice as long there to get the relief I need from multiple spinal surgeries and lots of scar tissue. The hot tub and pool cleanings throughout the day for several hours make it unusable and very inconvenient especially during the day and on the weekends when they close earlier (at 7pm to now 9 pm, but still annoying)... But their hours are now 4am to 11pm?? Who's going to the gym at 4am and why can't I go on the weekends after 9?? Recently matinence updated the security at the front with a gate, but they haven't upgraded or changed the hot tub jets in years. Being a multi-year gym membership holder, I haven't had any additional therapeutic jets installed despite my countless membership requests. Each day I don't get the therapy I need, my health declines significantly as well as my quality of life. Each time I go and I can't get my relief, I'm tempted to just end my membership completely as it's just a waste of time more often.

I’ve been training with Luis for the past three weeks, and honestly, he’s amazing. He clearly knows what he’s doing and keeps the workouts effective and motivating. I actually find myself preferring to train with him rather than going at it alone. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a trainer who really gets results.

Richland is definitely better than kennewick. Staff is nicer and the trainers actually roam around and check in to see if you need help with anything. Stocked with a good variety of supplements.

First of all, she’s very patient with me and that’s a big deal because I’m a very animated individual and I’m loud and she put up with me and knew all the questions that I asked and she’s very polite. I think you got a boss here named Ashley that needs to be recognized for her hard work thank you for hiring people that Are very smart and very kind and make thingz HAPPEN!! GOOD-LOOKING out front desk!!

Update; June 6, pool is still gross. It was less cloudy today but not clear please see photos. It needs to be acid washed and recaulked.
Update: pool is still gross. I'm not sure that the administration really cares that the pool looks nasty. They say that they're working on getting bids to clean the pool and refinish it. It's frequently cloudy which is nasty and I don't want to get in there and I was told this is due to people getting in with Sun's tan lotion or other lotions on their body even though they know they're not supposed to. But I feel like for the amount of water that's in there, it happens way more frequently than I would think . The people were very nice. The pool badly needs updating. I'm hoping they'll do that soon. It looked gross. Tried emailing about this for more info but didn't receive a response.

I can’t say it’s all bad here, can’t say to many great things either. My real problem with this facility is specific staff members try to make you feel unwelcome, not gonna bother calling him out, but this particular guy is ex military and now a trainer and every time I was there head down and just grinding he always would glare as if I had wronged him or something, I always felt unwelcome. Dunno how that behavior is tolerated. There is plenty to do here, but who wants to frequent a place where the staff tries to make u feel like they want you gone!?

Wow, what a fantastic workout! Waldo’s Zumba class on Wednesday's is exactly what this gym needed. I left feeling recharged, energized, and truly uplifted. Waldo is not only passionate about what he does but also an amazing instructor who brings such a positive vibe to the class.
I had actually been considering canceling my membership because I was really looking for Zumba classes. Now that it’s finally being offered and with someone as dynamic as Waldo, I’m staying!
Gold’s Gym Richland, please consider having Waldo teach Zumba at least twice a week. This class is a game-changer.

I signed up for Gold’s Gym because I was trying to take control of my health, but when I hit some financial hardship, they showed zero understanding or compassion. Instead of working with me, they sent my account to collections — damaging my credit score by over 50 points. I was just trying to improve my life, and now I’m being punished for it. There was no warning, no effort to resolve it with me directly. Just straight to collections. I expected better from a company that claims to care about people’s health and wellbeing.

Best staff! Helped me get my app set up to make entering the gym easy. Laney was kind enough to ask if I would like one of my cookies I bought warmed up! Haven’t gotten this type of treatment at any other gym 🙌🏽

Ethan at front desk was welcoming a d professional. I will be loyal to this gym because of service. Also the spin dryer in men locker rm is fixed and in great working order. Thx to Robert in maintenance.

When I originally enrolled with an annual membership, I was told there would be a cancelation fee if I canceled the membership in a period of less than 6 months. I just canceled 8 months into my membership (wasn't using the facilities enough to warrant the fairly steep monthly charge), and was charged a $75 cancelation fee. Front desk was unconcerned and dismissive. Really unfortunate.

Hidden cancellation fees, constantly overcrowded, visual training (videos) that cost hundreds of dollars, priced higher than the competition. Terrible in every way. Had to pay $120.00 just to leave the place.
