Boarded up and closed. Still listed as open in Google Maps and the 7-Eleven app so my time was wasted driving up there.

Lovely, I just drove across town and this place is boarded up. So much for 24 hours.Oddly enough, I saw fluorescent light shining from above the wood and a hint of shadows dancing about. I wasn't interested in discovering what might lurk within.*update* : After driving out of my way to this location for fuel (because I happen to like a particular 7-11 product), my car ran out of gas just a few blocks away. I nearly froze in below zero temps for almost 5 hours while I shuffled around the neighborhood- attempting to generate heat, searching for a phone signal, then finding a way to charge my dead phone, and finally haggling with roadside assistance in order to use a credit card over cash just to bring me a dollar's worth of gasoline.Absolute nightmare. I was near hypothermic by the end of my hellish adventure; it took me ages to thaw when I was finally able to start my rental car.I now have a whole new appreciation for the suffering of our homeless. Unfortunately, that's how I was treated by all but one of the locals I ran into.Moral of the story, you'd hope that an almost 100 year-old global corporation that stands as a true American success story would have it together enough to make simple updates on Gmaps that ensure their locations are accurately represented. You'd expect them to care enough about their _supposedly_ "valued" customers and provide information that won't lead them into dangerous situations in dismal forgotten neighborhoods; leaving them to nearly freeze to death...I guess not.

It's just a boarded up shack now. Google maps still showing it's open even though it has been closed for ages and reported as such.

Looks opened but is closed. We've gone a few times in two weeks and it's perpetually closed. No signage except "Temporarily closed" with no explanation what happened or when they'll open again. The owner got pushed out by corporate and the employees let go, the place always seems to be busy so I'm not sure why they're closing this location since it's the only one on the hill. It would be nice to know if they're closed permanently or opening someday.

Overcharged and wasn't given a receipt. Which is a violation of regulations.

Be sure to double check your receipts and make sure they are accurate before you walk out the door. I purchased a medium Slurpee here one evening recently and walked out the door assuming I had paid the correct price. However a few minutes later I got a notice on my phone that the purchase was almost $20--way too much for one Slurpee. I went back to the clerk who had literally just seen me a few minutes before and he seemed to pretend like he didn't remember me when I explained I had just bought the one Slurpee and was overcharged. He was able to pull out a recent receipt at the time I had purchased and it had a bunch of junk on it that I definitely didn't buy. I asked him to refund me and only charge me for the Slurpee, but he refused to. I even asked him to check the CCTV which would prove that I didn't buy anything else and he still refused to. After about 15 minutes dealing with this, he told me to come back the next day, which I could not as I had left town the next morning for a trip. It should have been an easily resolvable issue that night.Unfortunately, this is not the first time that has happened to me at this 7/11 location. A year or so ago something similar happened where I was charged for a bunch of junk that I didn't purchase and at that time the clerk (a different person who I don't think works here anymore) refunded me and corrected the charge. So either the people who work here are scammers or they literally just have no idea what they are doing.
