Brought my first items to this site about a month ago. Really appreciated the fair pricing for the 3 items I brought it. I stopped by 8/14/2024 to get a couple of more alterations done and unfortunately the shop is temporarily closed. I hope they open up again soon. Loved the service and can’t wait to return.

Visited on 8/10/24 but shop is closed with a sign that they are closed due to unexpected issue. Make sure you call before going or try the Columbia city location

Called to ensure he was open for business today. He told me to call after I arrived on the Seattle ferry. After arriving in Seattle he told me he was too tired to provide any work today.

Adam’s tailoring was awesome. His prices are fair, and his work is great. He was honest with me about altering a dress because of the amount of work/money it would cost versus the return I would get (another place quoted me a price without advising me of the return). I will definitely take my future alteration jobs to Adam.

Adam tailoring is the best and the only tailoring shop my family trusts in Seattle. My husband gets all his clothing altered here - suit jackets, pants, technical gear, and more. I visit the other location too (on rainier) to hem dresses and pants. This location only takes cash; rainier takes card. You won’t beat the service or prices at Adam Tailor, the Nguyen family is a gem!

Adam is a true professional--if he ever closes I'm not sure I can find anyone else. They don't make em like this anymore. Fixed some corduroy pants, a pair of shorts, and a tweed blazer for me, fully recommend.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this tailor and would not recommend them. I think there was a communication barrier as I tried to explain how I wanted to hem my vintage jeans. I was told over the phone that they could do a chainstitch on the bottom. But then I when I asked about that when I arrived, he said he could not do that. Additionally, I asked for the original hem to be kept on- jeans look weird without them original gem. That was also not done and they just cropped the original hem. Quite disappointed with this. Will not go back or recommend.

Weird, I just called to ask about cost of altering a wool coat and the man who answered the phone started to ask about the project but then said “I don’t work anymore, for a few years” I said okay and then we hung up. Very odd! Is it still in business?? ?

I brought a dress with difficult pleats and I had specific requests. The tailoring that Adam did completely surpassed my expectations and I am very happy. Adam is knowledgeable, prices are great, and he’s friendly. First time bringing an item here and I’m thrilled!Word of advice bring cash - if not there is an ATM in the tattoo shop next door.I will 100% be a repeat customer.
