Google profile & pics need updated, much smaller at new location & its more of a crystal shop and less so a bead shop. They have crystal bead options but very minimal glass beads. I wouldn’t classify this shop as a bead store.

Amazing collection of art and religious items from the Far East and South Asia. Wide selection of beads, semiprecious stones, incense, and much more. VERY worth visiting in person. Lots of treasures here!

Customer service bad, rude. One of the staff had sour face, followed me around and kept eyeing me judgey. Yuk! I love beading. Will NEVER support this store EVER. Luckily i found shipwreck bead store much more friendlier and lots of beads I’ve spent hundreds at. And also found bead world. Always other stores I can spend money at! Negative ratings here are ACCURATE!

I was on the hunt for a varied selection of freshwater pearls and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing selection of pearls Samual had! I felt like I was at a gem show as there was a HUGE selection of different sizes, colors and textured pearls! Prices were very reasonable and I bought 2 strands each of 20 different colors and have already used many of them for my creations. I've got lots of craft shows this summer so I'll be going back again soon to get more! They also had a lot of natural stone & semi-precious stone strands as well as many interesting charms & carved pendants. Samuel was very pleasant and helpful too. I can't wait to go back!

I’ve purchased many pieces here but will not be returning. the owner is unfriendly and seemed bothered by questions. unhelpful when I asked him to fix a $30 bead bracelet that broke shortly after purchasing here. told me to do it myself and wanted to charge me for a needle and string. it’s a shame, some really nice pieces and i love having a jewelry shop with quality items so close to home but with the owner’s aloof attitude i would rather spend my money elsewhere.

I found some of the coolest stuff here. I had been many times over the years when they were located on Roosevelt but I was so happy to find them in my local neighborhood. So many treasures.

very sorry they've moved out of the Roosevelt Dist. in Seattle--it was so convenient to the UW and many other places we see when visiting from Tacoma. But the stock is great & I still have a large supply to work from. Pearls are especially good!

I really wish I could give this place 0 stars me and my partner tried going in a few times so I could purchase some materials for my bracelets and every time they would look at us and say that they have a gas leak and shut the whole store down and go home when they just open there doors less then a hour ago, I have even brought in a buddy of mine to check the place out and again they would say the same thing but got caught in a lie cause my friend I brought in was just getting off work from dealing with emergency calls and fires and all that. To put it simple these lady's are the worst and now going past the store today they are moving out of Seattle and out to Redmond which in my opinion good riddance ?.

Went in with my dog today and was asked to leave because she wasn't a service dog. This place doesn't sell food so there is no reason to deny me coming in with her. This is Seattle. A dog city. Get with the times people.

Love, love, love this place! Enjoyed all that my eyes could take in, many things from the far east and more! Statues, figure heads, and more! Also, every kind of bead and semi precious stones available. Truly a heavenly paradise. Sam is the owner, a very nice man to do business with. I will be going back soon!
