I got the pulled pork dinner plate for about 20 bucks. The sauce, pork, greens, and yams were all really good and the service was friendly and genuine. Family owned energy. This is a take out only place which makes it hard to enjoy as a dinning experience and the cornbread wanted for more. Would for sure go again.

This is a small BBQ restaurant located new door to a local Taproom. We picked up a BBQ Brisket Plate dinner to go. The meat was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. We got collard greens, baked beans and cornbread for sides. Sooooooo yummy!!

Came in for our first time... Shut up to the intentionalist because without you. I would not have known about the freebies for a Black History Month.My king and I are so excited to be able to be blessed with two pulled pork sandwiches with potato saladWhile waiting on our food patiently we were just commenting on how adorable kayla is. Her customer service is outstanding because let's face it. A lot of customer service nowadays is trash.She was very bubbly and insightful. And I think one of our favorite parts was the way she said "Granny!!"+ So a super beautiful thing was when Kayla came out to bring our food. She was just so precious from head to toe. And she has a glow that excludes a light from her soulWe exchange some dialogue and told her that we really appreciate her and Granny For the service and now we can say the good food because we are in the car tearing it up.I can't believe that I heard that discomforting comment come from her mouth afterward. We basically called her a Queen and seeing her, such as that. By just saying please and thank you while ordering me and that we appreciate her!! She lit up like an award-winning smile by Viola. Davis, we just adore her. And it's sad that people don't appreciate them with a simple turn of thank you or how about a tip?...She kept rewinding. You don't have to do that and he said we exactly have to do this!! If my money wasn't that funny, I would've given more but hey, I know how to cruise back down Rainier with my Bae and come for another trip.Straight like that.Come and get you some comfort food you will not be disappointed!God Bless you, ?? s!!!

Place is shady and seems like a scam. They have a link to order online, but if you use it and go to pickup your order, they say they don't accept online orders and only take cash.The money will still be charged to your card for the online order that was placed.

I’m a chauffeur who will go far and wide for good BBQ in Seattle and the surrounding areas. I was fortunate enough to stumble across a hidden treasure when I visited Emma’s BBQ. I was first greeted by Miceala Who has incredible customer service relations and I was impressed with a delicious BBQ Sandwich, Macaroni and cheese, Baked Beans, Banana Pudding and a flavor that makes you want to Slap your Momma. Just kidding ? I rate! Emma’s as a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Go to In Columbia City Seattle or Lumen field at 120 for a Seahawks game… Thanks Miceala for all your Great Service….

If they answer the phone—, they’re open. I guess. Their hours listed on line are a fiction.Don’t get me wrong, if you can get it it’s some of the bbq in the area. My display is selfish I just wanted some of her food.This happens way to often. If they are open when I drive by, I’ll stop—, not going to spend hours calling and getting nothing.

Ate at CenturyLink field. Had a BBQ pork sandwich and it was 3 bites of meat on a bun. The BBQ sauce they give you weighed more than the meat. It was $15.49. The flavor of the 3 bites was good though. Would not go back due to the miniscule portions and high cost.

That max and cheese took me all the way home. The pulled pork and brisket were so melt in your mouth soft, and their hot bbq sauce is so damn good. Loved it! Great value for the quality of food.

I purchased the brisket dinner with strawberry lemonade. The brisket was seasoned well and tender. I enjoyed my sides and the strawberry lemonade was great. Yet I think what stood out was owners/staff. It reminded me of home bc they were so hospitable.

3 dinners without the cornbread. Not one sauce and the sides were mixed up. I was in a rush and didn't check the boxes. How could anyone forget the cornbread. What is this world coming too. 2nd takeout was awesome. They made all wrongs right. The staff was welcoming, friendly, conversational and assuring. The food was SCRUMPTIOUS! I won't comment on the peach cobbler. Give it a try. It'd be nice if they were open more.

As one reviewer said a month ago, " they're hardly ever open." Today is no exception. Sign says closed even though their hours list as noon to seven. It's 130pm and closed. Plus, "only one customer at a time" is allowed if/when they're open. So, no matter how good they might be, I am not taking food to go. Long drive for nothing and will not attempt again.

Emma's is a quality traditional southern style BBQ joint on the south end. For its style, I like it best compared to some of the bigger names in the area. That said, I don't think any menu item aspires to be more than a faithful recreation. If the style of BBQ isn't important to you then there are Haitian, Texas, and Kansas City influenced places around town that are doing more ambitious BBQ in Seattle.

We really enjoyed Emma's BBQ! Service was very friendly, the space was on the smaller side and currently just doing take out. There is also a small parking lot on the side. We got the 2 way combo dinner which was enough for 2 adults! Comes with 2 meats, 2 sides, and cornbread. We got pork ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. The meat was very flavorful and perfectly cooked/seasoned. The sides were excellent as well, and it was hard to choose! All in all I'd definitely recommend supporting this local family business.

If I could get through when I call to find out whether they're actually open on the dates advertised, I'd love to be able to provide them with a review. Emma's was recommended to me by a friend knowing I was looking for some good bbq. Drove from Kent to Seattle on a Saturday in early March-Google showed open. Got there and it was closed with a sign stating on vacation for two weeks. Waited three weeks, tried calling on a Saturday-no answer and no voice mail. Called today-website shows open. Called-no answer and no voicemail. Hoping the business owner reads this and let's me know how if they're still in business.
