The small local bike shop is alive and well. Support Sam and Hello Bicycle! This place has become my go-to for service. Sam is always willing to answer questions, which I greatly appreciate.

Over a decade of running successful bike shops really shows! A clean and organized shop that does great repairs. The cafe is a perfect mid loop checkpoint or turn around spot for coffee and a pastry! Highly recommend!!

What a delight finding Hello Bicycles. It’s just a couple of blocks south of the loop at Dodge and Hardy. Sam, owner/mechanic, has expertly, quickly and ultra-pleasantly managed complicated, as well as routine, issues on my stable of road, mountain, and tandem bikes. There seems to be no problem that is beyond his capacity to fix. I have decades of experience with many excellent bike shops. None compares with Sam’s Hello Bicycles.

The Baristas and Bike mechanics are all super knowledgeable and kind. You can bring your bike to get repaired, get a new bike, light or a helmet. The cafe has lots of places to sit (inside and outside). Rotating art hangs on the walls, real plants, in the backyard you can hear potters taking clay classes next door. The huge stump coffee table is fun! Many group bike rides leave from here because it is right off the loop/Dodge. Thankful for this community spot that midtown was missing. Wish they had vegan/dairy free pastries regularly.

One of the best local bike shops in town! Sam will take care of all of your cycling needs and will never steer you wrong. On top of the awesome bike service, the coffee shop is amazing! Stop by and buy a bike, coffee, pastry or anything else that catches your eye.

Excellent bike shop and cafe with a great mechanic behind the counter who I fully trust. He didn't offer anything unnecessary or upsell and was very knowledgeable about local rides and the work they did for us. It was a great experience. We stopped in with an appointment to get tubeless tires setup on a gravel bike and Sam was very welcoming and did excellent work.Love their selection of solid gravel bikes as well as a good amount of useful accessories. While there, we stopped into their cafe and had a tasty coffee and some snacks before hanging on their outdoor patio. A great start to the day before we headed out to ride near Mt. Lemmon. Thanks!

Had a great experience with quality of work done and communication. Got my mtb rear shock serviced here with much shorter turnaround time then if I were to mail it out to Fox.

Friendly service. I’ve known these guys since they were in high school they hit it out of the park with this venture. The coffee and baked goods are spectacular but the service is perfect. Feels like a neighborhood hang out.

Was able to hit Hello Bicycle and Cafe on a beautifully rainy winter day and loved it! The cafe is small, modern, and has a very neighborhood-lot vibe. I got a coffee and a vegan pastry from Houlden's Rise Above and both were 5/5. The latte I order was plain, but had a sweet rather than bitter taste from their beans. The best part? THEY DON'T UP-CHARGE FOR MILK SUBS!!

If you are looking for a sustainable, queer friendly/inclusive, high quality, and beautiful nook in this oasis of Tucson, you found it.As someone who uses the Bicycle Shop and Café, I think my review is all encompassing. Both aspects of this local gem are premium and honest. Before I became friends with anyone here, they did work on my bike and did some extra tuning up and gave some good critical advice for free! Every time I come in, they are so honest, it is actually quite impressive compared to the way some other shops charge new customers, and it shows their character well.As for the Café, they have Houlden's pastries, the best VEGAN pastries in town, and strait up the best pastries in general (that came from my cheese loving friend!). Their coffee is quality, relatable to presta, and all the baristas are awesome! BTW, they are SUPER QUEER FRIENDLY, which meant a lot to someone with transgender friends and family. Their backyard space demonstrates rainwater harvesting, feels uber-local, and has an atmosphere of a hole in the wall.I can't recommend this coffee enough, it has become my regular spot, primarily because the community and culture it has.

Great spot for morning coffee and a quick snack that’s just off The Loop. They also have an excellent ride-up bike shop for parts or emergency repairs if you’re out and about and in need.

This local Tucson spot has some definite Tucson-y vibes. This shop has great artwork outside and inside the building, parent friendly bathrooms, great outdoor space to relax and seating indoor as well. The drink selection is simple, everything has come out tasting great thus far. They also serve vegan pastries from local baker Houldens Rose Above. This coffee shop doubles as a bike shop, hours vary from the coffee shop so be sure to check them. Close to Brandi Fenton park!

I had been wanting to get my old school Jamis mountain bike back up and rolling. It had been YEARS and she needed some love.Sam is awesome. I felt so excited knowing that I was leaving her with someone that was as excited to work on it as I was to get back in the saddle. My rebuild exceeded my expectations ten fold. He really took the time to match up the components and rebuild my existing equipment. 500 stars for sure.Be sure to grab a cup at the cafe next door! So cute!
