I'm so hungry I could eat the whole deli. It's like drunk goggles but with food. When I find myself here I can't stop grabbing every little chip bag that's 1.99. Great quick deli stop. Marco behind the deli you are a true champ for making us those 3 Sammy's.

Meh. Takes at least two passes through because product locations are so random and illogical. Never buy their pre-made sandwiches: overpriced, STINGY (almost no meat and only a shred of badly wilted lettuce), 95% bread, dry as a bone with no mustard or Mayo included. Other Safeway stores make MUCH better ones.

I wrote a bad review for this store last night and I meant it for another Safeway location down the hill. Oops. No issues with this store and I've always been satisfied. Sorry about that. Other Safeways could take notes from this location. I'd much rather shop here. Thank you for your time.

Not the best example of a Safeway. Even though the store seems physically large, their selection is oddly small. I rarely am able to find everything on my grocery list at this store. It’s right in the heart of upper Queen Anne but seems to attract more than it’s fair share of crazy/sketchy people in the parking lot and in the store. The Safeway down on 1st has more selection, and eIther nearby QFC offers better prices and better selection.

This is a well broken in comfortable older style Safeway. Very friendly staff, good neighborhood feel. Will be gone soon to build a new store and 300+ new apartments on top

Came to this Safeway the other day, The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. They make sure there is always baskets for customers and when customer has a question, they will be there to answer. The Managers definitely manage the part time staff well. Keep up the good work.

This place is gross. It’s grimey and there’s a significant amount of theft/shady things going on. As if that’s not enough to deter you, their prices are seriously high and their produce mediocre. I’m pretty sure I get a better deal shopping at the far fancier and nicer Metropolitan Market which makes no sense to me. I only go if I desperately need something TJs doesn’t have and don’t want too drive far.

Great service from staff member Joe. Very friendly and polite. Only suggestion is that the uniform: I dint know why he had to wear his pants so high ! Maybe it’s a style for young people

My family and I have been coming to this store for literally decades, so it saddens me to say this, but it's true: this place is an embarrassment. Name a product, they don't have it. And I'm not talking about obscure, fancy, exotic items; I'm talking about very basic staples. This Safeway has become unacceptably poor and unreliable. It's grimy, dingy, dated, and cramped. Meat and produce don't look particularly fresh. No, this cannot be attributed to Covid, the decline has been coming on gradually for several years. Empty shelves in every aisle. Service in the deli is so slow that it's almost comical. Look, I have worked in retail and customer service for years, and I know how hard it can be. I give kudos to anyone in that industry. But there is truly not one single reason to shop here. If you just want milk, you'd be better off going to a gas station. The difference between this place and the nearby Trader Joe's is like night and day, in every aspect. The night crew has gotten overly casual; they have friends ( and dogs!) hanging around and it's not at all clear who works there and who doesn't, because there doesn't seem to be any uniform or dress code whatsoever. Some employees are visibly lacking hygiene. This Safeway has long been out of touch with the culture of the surrounding community. Single people and apartment-dwellers don't want their stuff in huge quantities. I don't want a 12-pack of chicken or steak, or a multi-pound pack of Oreos. That's not the demographic, here.

They should really take the time to shovel out the handicap spots. All the time I spend there and those spots mean the difference for sure but when they are not shoveled, people that are handicapped can't use them.

The staff here are so sweet and I think they value personal choice. Best grocery store ever! Keep it up!

Generally well stocked, but checkout lines are always long, and many items seem to be marked up beyond reason. For example, JUST egg substitute is $5 at metropolitan market, but last I looked here it was $6.40. This location is convenient but there’s a limit to how much extra I will pay for that. Metropolitan market is like 5 mins away if driving.

Dear Safeway, Please update your HOURS via the phone information! Twice now arrived after midnight, per your '1am' close time according to the message service after calling beforehand, and twice now had to schedule another Uber ride someplace else after arriving to locked doors. Thank you

Nice local safeway near Seattle Pacific University. Its one of the smaller Safeway's but they have everything we needed, they even had the hot food area. Its near a lot of eateries nearby. Definitely a must go for quick groceries.
