Something happened here three weeks ago. We have shopped at this store for months without issue. Last week had long lines, and at the register, our coupons would not work; we spent 45 minutes buying chicken. Yesterday we came for chicken Monday. At the register, the deal would not compute. When we came home, our bag was full of chicken wings instead of thighs and drumsticks, and the meat was rubber, nearly inedible. We will not shop here again, and we recommend you don't either.

Went at 12:30 and they had nothing in their deli but fried chicken and Jo-Jos. They dont keep burritos, pizza pockets or any other deli food ready. She said she could make me some but I was on lunch and didn't have time to wait. It sucks but don't plan on them having any food in the hot food section. The shadle safeway always has food so maybe it's because this one used to be a Albertsons and their deli always sucked. I was expecting a safeway because that's what the sign says now.

They seem to be getting better and better since they remodeled. To the point where now I do most of my shopping here.

Drove almost 90 miles round trip to do shopping at the store and bought a google play card, the card wasn't fully activated and google support told me I needed to get a new card from the store. The supervisor "max" told me I was basically out of luck and he couldn't do anything , excuse me he said "he was trained" to not do anything and to contact them again in 30 days to resolve the issue. This is the 3rd time Safeway has flat out taken 70 to 200 off my card, the new employee working the register didn't activate the card. Normally the store would have me come back and show them proof of purchase, bring the card and screenshots of what the error was and exchange the card. This guy Max was a total ***** and clearly they'd rather steal from their customers and make them wait a month before refunding them. Worst customer service ever!

3rd shopping trip in 3 weeks where the milk case was bare. Unfortunately this is more often the case than not since Albertsons became Safeway. Brought ample bags of my own yet the bagger felt the need to add 3 more bags to bag my groceries. 1 bag of chips in 1 bag?! WTF?! After 14 years of shopping at the same location which was great when it was an Albertsons, I am done. I am sick and tired of coming home from my shopping grumpy because I had to make another stop for milk. I have ignored the steep price increases on everything which have been even more than competitors. See ya Safeway, I am going to Rosauers instead for my weekly shops. #happyIhaveachoice

I repeatedly asked them to stop taking my customer survey that pops up on the checkout screen. I wanted to do it myself, you know, because I'm the customer and they are the ones supposedly being rated. They said that corporate says no, they have to do it themselves. So I finally just stopped shopping there and I'm much happier. Really, if you have to be fraudulent in a survey, what more important things are you being fraudulent in? What a joke. The store has gone downhill since the management changed. There are so many other choices for grocery stores on the hill. Safeway used to be my absolute favorite store, now I deleted the app.

I've quit shopping here for the most part. The frozen foods have a weird taste because they aren't put away promptly, and I'm aware of this because I know people who work there. Nasty. I've bought bread here that molded completely within 2 days because the stock isn't rotated properly. Lazy. Also, good luck getting any help here. People either don't want to help or don't know where items are to help find them. The managment in the bakery is a joke. Imagine working somewhere for months and never once meeting your manager. Uh. Okay. The one thing I can say is the people who work self checkout are always friendly and helpful, so a gold star for those lovely folks. As far as the rest of the store, take the extra 5 minutes and drive to Safeway on 29th, at least their food isn't molding or possibly going to make you sick.

Store is ok, usually not enough checkers, more self checkout oriented.Biggest complaint is handicapped carts are hard to get to and are almost always blocked by hand carts. They are also not easy to get into, because they are packed in so tight. There are only three carts for the whole store.

This store is well-lit, fully stocked and has great prices. The staff on hand is friendly And knowledgeable about the products they are selling. This store also offers a starbucks If you want to pick up a quick drink before shopping, The Starbucks staff is also friendly and knowledgeable.

The store is clean and the meat department people are friendly and do a great job. Prepare to spend 20 minutes or more to check out. I've never seen a slower check out process in my life. Used to go to an Albertson's in another state and it was an enjoyable experience. This place - Eesh. Might be a training issue. Who knows.

The best part is that they are open until 1am. I can go after work on 2nd shift. I'm so thankful that they stay open!*edit* They now close at midnight.

I stood at the sandwich bar for seven minutes waiting to be acknowledged by the three employees that were working in the back. I tried to get their attention and I saw two of them glancing at me but neither of them came out to take my order. Oh I was the only customer too. When someone finally did come over and I ordered a sandwich off the menu they didn’t know what was on it. They tried to give me something I didn’t want and when I asked for the menu item they went into the back and came out with something else again. Pretty poor service for what is my staple grocery store that has always done a great job.

They did such a good job remodeling and we now have a Starbucks inside! Nice cashiers who remember your name.
