The blonde haired woman with the tattoos that runs the Night Shift is a complete nut job. I recommend you not go there at night. If you want to be problem and hassle free this woman is absolutely crazy. You can’t even go in the store and buy something. do you have to go there and wait for her to give you direction stand there be told what to do when you’re the customer you’re better off going anywhere else but here

Just got double charged at the gas pump and and of course none of the phone numbers actually get through to anybody so I'll change my review once I get help. Oh and even better the pump didn't print the receipt.

Its not Their faults that the air pump keeps getting jacked. But that's the reason for the rating.

My mother, who has lived in the Perry District for over 30 years, was assualted by a homeless man at HICO gas station. She was leaving when he confronted her, punched her in the face, and dropped her to the ground. She went right back into the store crying for help and to call 911, the staff refused. They told her she had to call 911 herself, requiring her to go out to the car, where the man was still aggressive and psychotic, to call herself. When my sister went to go get my mother, she witnessed the staff rewatching the footage, and laughing when my mom fell to the ground. The police were called, the man was detained, and she is doing well at this time. I would avoid going to this establishment, they do not care for your safety, will not help in a time of crisis, and they do not need your hard-earned money. Also, the man may still be around the HICO area, please beware of your surroundings, and avoid engaging for your safety.

Just got told by some idiot working there that I have to be 21 to buy a lighter. No laws say that you have to be 21 to buy a lighter. A lighter is not a tobacco product either.

I don't dislike this place. The store connected to this gas station is relatively large, but it's prices are on the higher end of gas station convenience store prices.

I stopped in to the Hico while checking out the Perry Street area . . . Decent selection for an old-style neighborhood market, but the prices, as to be expected, are mostly pretty high except for a few particularly good sales on certain items. The cashier was on her phone and then was a bit surly . . .
