Fail. Paid up front in total then they charged me again. Bad enough that my return was a third of what it has normally been, then Jackson Hewitt took most of the rest. Been trying for 3 months to get them to refund it back! Everyone I spoke to admitted I was double charged. Everyone I spoke to said they would make sure it got handled. It has NOT BEEN HANDLED.

Worst customer service I've ever had. I have been a loyal jackson hewitt customer for the last 10 + years, but after my last encounter I can honestly say H&R block will now hold my loyalty. I made an appt days in advance, knowing tax season can get crazy, I showed up to my appt 20mins before (I'm just a early person generally) and waited for my tax preparer to be ready for me as he was working with someone. While I was waiting the lady sitting next to me asked the lady on her otherwise if she needed an appt, the lady answered that she didn't know. 20mins after my appt time (which I understand things can run over when doing taxes) the man I was scheduled with finished with his client. He stands up and the lady who had asked about needing an appt rushed over to him. I wasn't worried, at first, thinking he would let her know he had an appt waiting, but he didn't. He had her sit, that's when I approached. I let him know politely that I had an appt with him, and he stared blankly at me. Realizing he wasn't going to keep the appt I asked how long I would need to wait, in which he responded he wasn't sure but maybe an hour. I was shocked! She had no appt, yet he took her over someone who had made an appt days in advance! I will never be back, it was rude and not good customer service.
