This store had a cool selection of groceries. Their meat department is stacked. Be safe the parking lot can be sketchy but that's thanks to the awesome open acceptance of drug use and all the rights a person has over sober well behaving and responsible citizens. ??

Needed to use the bathroom but no public bathrooms, so tired of this happening.. Hire some security like market Safeway and actually treat your paying customers like human beings.. Never will I shop there again, or will my girls be selling girl scout cookies in front of this store if there is no bathroom for them to use.Very disappointing..

Hate Safeway. Always higher priced and snooty. Have to have their 'rewards' card to get deals that the distributors give them anyway. Snooty employees. Only go there if there is NO other option. Id rather go to a zip trip or gas station!

The store and most employees are great. It's the demographic of people that are not great, which is not the stores fault. Therefore, I still state 4 stars. This location is convenient, which brings in unwanted attention from transient people and drug/ alcohol induced patrons. Again, it's not the stores fault. They have great sale prices. I would not eat the deli food as it's not changed often enough as an employee commented when I stated a thigh was very small, "that's because it shrunk after sitting so long". Not appetizing and I politely declined ordering food from the deli. It all looked like it had been sitting there the whole day. Other than that, most of the items in the store are good to go.

This location pretty much has what I need when I visit. The parking lot is not the best. Lots of fast-moving vehicles. Otherwise, it's one of my favorite locations to shop it.

Good clearance items sometimes, good sales sometimes. It's a good idea to get signed up, those digital deals are real good. Cheep chicken Mondays. There's a weird high pitched sound in the store though, kinda drives me crazy.

It was good I had got some chicken from there the baked chicken which I loved baked chicken the flavor was popping but it just made me have diarrhea but other than that they made it right and I had some fried chicken and that was really good

My experience here was really bad based on the fact that I went in with my boyfriend and he was purchasing alcohol we are both 21 I just didn’t have my purse or wallet on me so I knew from other store policies not to touch the alcohol. I had a picture of my id in which I told the lady BECKY that I could show her because she was asking for my ID when I wasn’t the one purchasing the alcohol. She proceeded to say that I needed to show my ID. She claimed she couldn’t look at the picture of my ID even though I wasn’t the one purchasing it . I really feel like I was racially profiled because we both are African American and automatically their response was that they were going to call the police. I honestly feel like she has no customer service and might be racist because in my opinion just by the way she was acting towards me and my boyfriend. She ended up not selling my boyfriend the alcohol and we didn’t get the the receipt for the refund. We asked for the receipt and Becky made a big deal over it trying to claim we didn’t make a purchase so there was no need for a receipt. The manager was eventually called in which we got the receipt but he also threatened to call the police . I honestly feel like they might be racist and that me and my boyfriend was racially profiled .

I've always loved safeway, I love their baked chicken legs and the chow mein they have in the deli it's my favorite meal to have when I go. The store is clean and I usually don't have any issues with the people that work there or shop there. But the parking lot is another story as all of them are almost been run over a few times. They have a good selection of products both fresh and frozen and you get points when you shop there which leads so only off gas and we all know we want that with the way prices are going. You just have to sigh up and become a memeber and boom eve ry 100 points or so is like 10¢ and I think it's up to a dollar off that you can get. So definitely a plus for me when I'm shopping and even more since it also works are Albertsons since they are partners or owned by safeway I can't remebr but it doubles your chances of building up them points =)

I don't usually go to this grocery store considering it's out in the valley and I live on the South Hill. But I can tell you the workers are amazing and wonderful and you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. They all provided great customer service with an authentic kindness and smile on their face. I actually felt like I was in an upscale type of grocery store but the prices were not upscale they were really affordable and fair. They had a lot of really cool little items that other grocery stores don't carry such as the plant section was really top-notch and cool. They had a lot of plants that I haven't even seen at nurseries around here. And the price of the plants at other places would have been 50 bucks only $19.99 there at yokes. All their produce was beautiful and not old. The fresh of the freshest it seemed. Their meat looked amazing. The deli had really good choices. And I like the organization of the store and the store layout. I know they have other Yokes and other locations in Spokane Washington and just due to my curiosity I'm going to check them out and I'll let you guys know the deal on those stores also.

Store hasn't changed. Even just a few minutes that I was there, shoplifters were abundant. Customer service was good. Just the apperance of the store still looks dirty outside. If you can I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

This is a good location, it's just frustrating because there are a ton of sketchy people that hang out outside waiting to bum money off of you. They also have a problem with thieves entering the store. The staff is great though.

Safeway is an American icon. The quality and availability of goods is top notch although $$ more than most. The policy they have of not keying in your demagnetized EBT CARD saying that DSHS asked them to not do it, is in my opinion a lie. Every store, and I mean EVERY STORE that sells food even the little gas stations if you have cash on cash side if the EBT card, will key in the numbers from the card if need be. So DSHS asking only Safeway to not do this is highly unlikely. I spent 2hrs loading my cart with food and went to check out .... ended up wasting my time and had to shop elsewhere do to this discrimination. So unless you don't have a major credit/debit card or cash, you are not worth a simple key in EBT food purchase and you will be embarrassed as you walk away empty handed. I should not give Safeway any stars but they do have quality and selection which is category I follow aswell so 2.5 is my actual rating until they figure it out.

Was definitely over priced until I found out about the app with all the coupons n offers it really helps at the register! A LOT actually! staff is always great very nice n ready to help. Always available never gotta go hunt someone down
