About a year ago, there were huge delivery delays in my neighborhood (N. Minnehaha) that shocked me. I never learned for sure what the problem was. But the reduced staff who labored away at the office, facing the ire of residents, displayed courage and patience. The mail eventually got back on track. And three months ago, it was at this office that I met with the most remarkable kindness I've ever encountered from the USPO. When the clerk, a personable woman with a British accent, found out that the parcel I planned to insert into one of the standard mailers contained only DVDs, she not only told me that I could save over ten dollars by using my own packaging and using the media rate, but she went to the back, found a box with two of the right dimensions, trimmed the third dimension down, packaged the DVDs, taped it, etc. When I thanked her for all this above-and-beyond, she said that she was happy to do it since I was, at the moment, the sole customer.

Everyone at the post office is absolutely horrible at their job. And the delivery people refuse to take mail and constantly give me wrong mail. I have had nothing but issues for years.

I've been waiting patiently for my item. I must admit tho, I'm excited to use it, but unfortunately I haven't received it yet, due to the postman being extremely lazy to walk up to my door, he hasn't left a note either, about item has arrived and refuses to fix the big parcel mailbox next to mine for oversized mail for over half a year now...I just hope it's in good conditions for when I do receive it. I Track my deliveries to prove their disservice & happens every single time...they never deliver to the door & lie about me not being home, when I'm waiting and this sometimes costs me money, when I'm waiting for an item that helps to do such, besides wasting time, gas & money to go to post office. One time ago, they filled out a Note saying "Sorry to have missed you when you were out" as I was standing at the Mailbox watching him from 3 feet aways, filling out my note, with no attempt to put in oversized mailbox and/or even come up to my door...how lazy can you be, and when will these lies Stop??For over 12 years, since I lived in the area, this has been happening. The local usps here in Spokane Hillyard Branch Office on Freya St., they have had lots of complaints for deliveries. They've been doing this to customers & seller's for over a decade now or more, as you could tell by their Google maps reviews over the years.Anyhow, I hope I'll get the item tomorrow as long as they don't have a lie or lame excuse to honor a delivery...they definitely need much better workers there, they hurt everyone's business including their own with such disservice employees as well make it hard for the lady at the front desk with customers & sellers lined up out the door or long line in hallway, while in the meantime people are mingling and gossiping about nearly the same complaints, inconvenience to come to the post office, because the employees rather fill out Lying Notes, which takes longer than bringing packages to the door, while wasting everyone's time, Gas & money followed by honored convenience of delivered mail that has been paid for. Please hire others that can do those jobs there or transfer them PLEASE...LOL...sheesh..

Absolute horrible mail service and they lie. What a lazy group of employees at the Hillyard post office. You're getting paid to do a job why not do it?? Placing notices in my box without attempting to deliver at all. These people should be embarrassed. Perhaps the post master cares, who knows.

Waste of tax payers money, They dont know how to put a package in the mail box, and the drivers will deliver your package when it is convenient for them, and not do their job. Sad I have to buy a ring door camera to prove how much of a shitbird these folks are!

Constantaley having issues with lazy delivery drivers. We get mail and packages for people not even in our apartment complex, after multiple complaints of them leaving packages on the curb in front of the mailboxes they are retaliating and will not deliver packages to anyone’s door. Today I stayed home to receive a package for my small business and because they did not want to deliver my package to my door I am now losing income and since they are only open Monday through Friday I have to miss more work to go and pick up my package on a different day.

Prices are going up. $10+ to ship a shirt! But that's 2023. The service is amazing. And you can almost guarantee to have all your shipping or postal needs met.

They folded a metal poster into a tiny mailbox. I can't even imagine why you would make that choice. This is the post office that delivers to my residence, and I have to say they are regularly awful.

So annoyed they close earlier than most post offices. Also too many times my packages say they were delivered and weren’t. Where are my freaking packages going once you say it’s been delivered?? Also frustrating there’s only one person working at all times.

I moved into a new house 3 weeks ago and my mail has only been delivered to my mailbox maybe 3-4 times, and packages through this post office are always days late- no problems with packages from other carriers though. I have important mail that I need to be receiving, and they just refuse to deliver it. I reported this location to USPS, but I doubt they will do anything about it.

They’ve just refused to deliver my packages anymore whether it’s June and sunny or snowing in December. They don’t even try anymore. Just leave notes to come pick it up myself. And then when I get here, I wait in 45 minute long lines AND I come to find out they’ve given me misinformation on package postage in the past so my loved ones have to pay postage because no one informed me AFTER I EXPLICITLY ASKED AND WAS ASSURED THE POSTAGE I HAD WOULD BE JUST FINE.This place is such a wreck. Literally any other office would be better.

This post office has refused to deliver my partners mail and packages the entire 3years he has lived her. When I moved in we noticed things in my name would mostly deliver but they have repeatedly not delivered important mail including mail related to medical and dental bills and referrals to specialists. They told us they've had issues w our apartment since june/July but this has always been an issue. Worst is last year his brother's wedding invitation never delivered to us and had to be sent elsewhere. They've also refused to deliver a custom $200 wedding veil to our apartments despite our oversized parcel box us almost always else or has at least 2 boxes empty and currently can't even get my partners wedding ring to be delivered to our mailbox. Went to the post office and said it should deliver but for 3 straight days it has not. Had to emergency order a 2nd ring to my parents address bc I doubt they'll bother Giving us his ring despite it being 1 week til our wedding. If you can do not use thid USPS post office and ask your items to be sent any other way bc they're too lazy to deliver packages and simply resend mail back to sender.
