As of 1/1/2024, have a Medicare Advantage plan with OptumRx mail-order pharmacy services. I contacted OptumRx on 1/3 and requested that they have my prescriptions transferred from the Walgreens on Grand Boulevard (Spokane). They processed this request and sent a fax to Walgreens the same day.Walgreens took no action, so OptumRx faxed a second request on 1/8. 48 hours have lapsed and Walgreens has not responded.I called the Walgreens pharmacy this morning and was on hold for 14.5 minutes. During this time, there were 3 occasions when someone picked up the phone (the hold music stopped and I could hear background conversation) and then immediately placed me on hold without saying ANYTHING to me.Pharmacy tech Peyton eventually answered and said they were very busy. I reminded her that it takes less than 5 seconds to inform the caller that there will be a wait before placing the call on hold again. I said that OptumRx provided me with the number for Walgreens to speak with their pharmacist to facilitate the prescription transfer. She was unwilling to initiate the transfer and said that OptumRx must contact Walgreens. I said they already had done so, and she said "then we must not have gotten the request". I asked for and received the Walgreens phone number for pharmacist use and the pharmacy fax number.I called OptumRx and they confirmed the address, phone number, and fax number on record for this Walgreens facility matched the information the Walgreens pharmacy tech had provided to me.So, I drove over to Walgreens and was assisted by pharmacy tech, Kieren, who was so very polite and more than willing to assist me. They took down all of the insurance information and the contact numbers and said they would call OptumRx and get these prescriptions transferred as requested and then would call me and advise me that the task had been completed.This was an utter flog and I did not get any traction with Walgreens until Kieren stepped into the mix.My initial rating was 1, but I have upgraded my rating to 2 because of Kieren's excellent customer service.But, this does not negate the breakdown in the process of getting my prescriptions transferred to OptumRx. This type of inefficiency increases my workload and the workload of OptumRx customer support and Walgreens pharmacy and is not conducive to good patient care.

Clean, well stocked and a good selection of hallmark products, which is what I came in for. Cashier was pleasant and helpful.

I would actually rate them at 0% if given the choice. This Walgreens never answers its phone. I have spent a minimum of 10 to 45 minutes placed on hold, and many, many times being bumped off (disconnected) and have to start all over again. It's infuriating! If I was taking BP pills, my BP would be off the charts by the time I was done. Certain drugs that I routinely order are out of stock or I'm given a partial prescription, which means 2 trips to the pharmacy to get one drug. I'm in search of a new pharmacy, perhaps one that is privately owned where the customer is treated with respect and most all transactions go smoothly.

Don't bother making an appointment for vaccination here. Unless you enjoy waiting an hour while the pharmacist ignores the people seated waiting for their shots; patients who took time out of their day to be on time for their "appointment". After an hour I gave up.Never again.

Have used them for years and felt they were my great neighborhood pharmacy recently however noticed that they do not feel the need to sufficiently communicate and have staff who are rude sad decline -

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. Tonight I waited on hold for an hour for them to just pick up the phone and hang up. I then called back and I’ve been sitting on hold for 1hr 15 min. They also never have medications in stock. Worst customer service ever!

This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST Walgreen’s I have ever had to deal with. I have been using Walgreens since the 90’s and in 5 different states. They never answer their phone, or you are on hold anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour+. They can never get my refills right. I have never been so stressed out with simply just trying to get refills. I just transferred to another Walgreens today, and had to call them due to the other one screwing up yet again. I was on hold for maybe 2 minute, the lady was very pleasant and told me my refills will be ready in just a couple of hours. I definitely do not recommend the Walgreens on Grand!!!

Product I bought was old and stale. They know when to through things out they are just too lazy. Second time I've had this problem with the store. I'll definitely shop elsewhere.

I have been trying to get my daughters magic mouth wash for 3 days now. First day he told me to come back in an hour and when I did they were closed. Second day they said the insurance wouldn’t go through so I called my insurance and they told me Walgreens was entering in the wrong code and walked me through how to help Walgreens do it the right way. Now Walgreens is stating they’re not contracted with my insurance ??♀️ I can pay out of pocket but one person says $37 and the other person says $118 ? just avoid this place completely. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I wanted this to be our main pharmacy bc of the drive thru window, but it’s not worth that convenience. I wasn’t getting any updates for my daughter’s medication (which she desperately needed), and I tried calling all day long, only to be met with long holds and automated options, no actual person to talk to ever.Then I found that Walgreens will not be selling the abortion pill in several states where abortion is still legal. Keeping my business prescriptions at Rite Aid & Sixth Avenue Pharmacy from here on out.

The employees are not AT FAULT for the issues at this location. Whenever I'm in the store, they are super busy. Rushing around, you can see they're working very hard.. I feel sorry for them I'm giving the rating a 3 ONLY because of the employees. This is CORPORATE'S FAULT!
