While dealing with my late father in laws estate the bank decided to also declare that husband was dead, locking his online banking and cancelling his debit card. I have no idea how they even came to this conclusion or took these actions without our authorization. My husband is still very much alive. As a result, all of our automatic bill payments were suspended. We are still dealing with this unnecessary situation. Wells Fargo has created a huge problem for us they don't seem to care much about rectifying it.
