I have autistic children and was treated very disrespectful by employees and metro because one of my son's has behavior issues and they always be mean to him and me because they don't understand him and his needs. very unprofessional they need to employ better people that care about people not hurt people in need. I just experienced a lovely act of kindness. Cayla was running the self check when an older woman did not have enough money for her food. Cayla stepped up and helped her without making her embarrassed. This completely made my whole day.

This morning I was disrespected and humiliated by the staff working at Safeway this morning after 45 minutes of shopping I was approached by two people telling me I had to leave the store because I was 86 they didn't care what I had to say I tried showing my ID tell them they had the wrong person when I asked to talk to a managerI was told there were none working at that time I was not able to purchase my groceries and I was humiliated in front of the whole storeI feel that situation was handled very unprofessionally and immaturely,

First time I'd ordered groceries delivered online! A bit confused where my groceries came from, ordered from Albertson's/Safeway on Market, mostly, needed some Gatorade. All items ordered were included and delivered on time. Zoey, with Doordash, was amazing! Prompt and friendly, made my day brighter having a few minutes of social interaction. In the future, I will order from Albertson's/Safeway again, whether under the weather or not.

We like updating our reviews so that they stay current. This store has been keeping social distancing protocols since the mandate along with wearing masks and sanitizing. The staff and customer service has improved a lot in the past few months along with opening more registers during peak business hours. With a lot more security/police presence in the area lately, it does make us feel safer when we shop here.

This Store and the Pharmacy are great. The Pharmacists all know me and are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about their job. Any questions, they are happy to help. The cashiers are always nice, helpful and friendly, for the most part. A select few employees seem to hate their job, their life or both. These select few are never helpful, nor friendly, nor kind. But, other than those select few, I think the employees here are great!!

Everytime I come here for the Banner Bank, gas the liquor aisle and fresh veggies it takes literally FOREVER. I mean, Market Street is my hood and I love Safeways as a corporation to support but my gosh has it taken such a long time. I wait forever for the bank, then wait even longer in the liquor aisle (I am telling you I press a button then wait another 10 to 15 minutes for SOMEONE to come, like let me get my tequila.) The check stands are always understaffed and consumer satisfaction is compromised. It is no FUN.

I was in a hurry and decided to use self checkout, big mistake. First it wouldn't recognize my safeway card, the friendly assistant got the machine to take it. I began scanning items and noticed all of the prices were to high. The assistant tried to check the totals to see if the club discount was working and the machine completed the transaction and spit out a receipt with some of my purchases not finished.The receipt showed full price on on all items, the nice assistant said she'd correct it. I started over with my safeway card and scanned my first item which showed full price with no club discount. At this time I said I'm done. The lady ran a refund but the reader now wouldn't recognize my payment card. She gave me cash back. I left without any groceries. So much for being in a hurry. Nice job safeway, you eliminated a needed register yet made more work for your employees and lost a customer. BRILLIANT!

I went to the Safeway on Market to get to fill my car up with gas and when I got to the window to pay cash I had to get his attention either he was on his phone or something, if you're going to be working somewhere with the public they should not be on their phone at all why they're at work. In fact there were two people in the gas station and neither one of them recognized that I was standing there please get it together guys that's why you're only getting 3 stars
