Where is the zero star option?! This place doesn’t deserve a star! The women don’t even wanna help you, they are bothered by your question. Jennifer, you need a class in customer service! The other woman at least knew how to smile!

Some of the worst customer service I have had in a long time. And they really need a few classes in customer service and going out of the way to not give me the bird for needing assistance and a ride . They have picked us up before at our house but now it's more convenient to tell us it's out of your area and call the other one. Nevermind, I'll Uber even if it costs a little more it's better than attitude.

Came in months ago for insurance claim. There was a man & a woman in the office, but not the manager Cheryl. They overbooked the cars & went to call someone to let him know that they no longer had a car for him even though I had not actually picked up the car yet. The car they wanted to give me was not clean, it was a Chevy Spark I believe. Paperwork was not beginner friendly. For someone who's never rented a car before, it felt like I needed a lawyer before signing it. I wasn't sure if any of the paperwork or insurance to buy was optional or necessary. The staff were vague/indifferent. I had brought someone with me who also suggested I leave after I left a message for my insurance agent.

I would give them a -0*if I could they have the absolute worst customer service, they're liars straight up liars and thieves and they will take all your money. If they can. They told me my rental was $156.07 for three days. When I tried to return it on Saturday found out they were closed at noon. The customer service rep didn't tell me that they were closing at noon so I tried to return it at the same exact time I rented it called customer service explained they were closed. There's no key drop box, she opened a claim said I would not be charged for the extra days for Sunday as long as I returned it Monday morning when they open when I tried to return it Monday morning they're charging me a late fee$12 and for two extra day so my bill changed $159 to $309.28 but my credit card shows multiple charges 2X $356.00 =$712+$118+$119=$949 They never said anything about the charges they were not willing to remove the extra days or charges even though I did what was on my contract ( return on date of contract) and the customer service rep over the phone said I would not be charged... so I disputed with my bank and now they will only be getting $191.00Original $156.00$35.00 for the electric charge feeDO NOT EVER RENT FROM HERTZ THEY WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! AND THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ALSO LIE YO YOUR FACE........

I rented cars from this location, monthly, for almost 1 year! These guys were amazing to work with. Always upgraded at no charge if the vehicle I needed wasn't in stock. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Do not resolve issues when physically at the location as well as calling in customer service and kept getting incorrect numbers. I was given shirt insurance even though I did not request for it and when I tried to remove it, no one would pick up the phone for like three days after having the vehicle and then charge me for three days of having the insurance which I find unacceptable. This is at the SeaTac Hertz In Seattle WA!Poor customer service both in person and on phone.

Never again. Please invest one minute of your time to read this. I promise it is worth your time.First, Google search "Hertz car theft".These absolute parasites had hundreds of their customers arrested because they couldn't find their cars and they reported them stolen. Some people got thrown in jail.Think about that. No call. This car rental company can't keep track of its own cars, so the customers suffer the consequences of arrest, time in jail, and criminal charges on their record. And they're getting away with only paying $168 million. They are a company with $2.5 BILLION in revenue. So their fine is less than 6% of their annual revenue. They are laughing at everyone. They shouldn't even be in business. However here's my story. And it's really pretty simple.I rented a car for 2 days. The charge was $30 per day. On the second day I decided to extend it for one day. I understood that the charge for the third day would be $52 plus taxes and the insurance that I put on it.They reverted my contract and charged me $52 for every single day. Thus stealing $44 from me.Is it much money? No. But think about how many people they do this to. Think about how much they are defrauding their customers out of? Remembering that they have their customers arrested falsely for theft, and knowing that obviously nothing is beyond them. When I got in touch with someone at corporate level, I was told that they had every right to do this because I changed my itinerary and that it's in their T&C(terms and conditions). At this point I was furious. How in the world is this even possible? I had a contract that was even PREPAID!Again, I have no problem paying the $52 plus whatever fees for the third day. I understand that. However, how do they get away with rewarding loyalty by overcharging for something that was already paid for? And the whole time they have your card information so they can do whatever they want?Beware beware beware. This review is more about the corporation than the local, but the local is no better. There's one guy there that understands, but he has no power. Everyone else thinks this is okay.

Paul, the manager is great! Renting a car can be a time-consuming and stressful, and Paul made it a great experience.

Go to Enterprise instead! The Enterprise in Lakewood and Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord are wonderful, with super helpful and professional people. Would leave negative stars for Hertz if I could. Booked a week in advance, contacted minutes before I was supposed to pick up the car to be told there are none available for me. When asked why I was contacted last minute, the only reason the lady told me was it was just her there and she’s busy. Refused to help in anyway, not even to cancel my reservation. Hertz customer service was equally rude and unhelpful, only thing they’re willing to do is send generic “I’m sorry for your experience” emails. Everyone you can get in touch with is just a customer service rep who either can’t or won’t do anything to help. Extremely disappointed in Hertz at many locations multiple times now and they love adding on extra fees after the fact, would not recommend them to anyone for poor business practice.

Terrible service!I had a confirmed reservation made directly with this outfit only to have them call me a few days later to say they have no cars. The 'manager' Cheryl was very unhelpful, never offered to try to solve the problem, her attitude was 'Oh well tough.' I will never rent from Hertz again and want to warn others about their practices.
