I reached out to Michael to help me sell my house on the strong recommendation of a friend, and I'm really glad I did. The home buying and selling process is extremely stressful and complicated, but at every step of the way Michael was a consistently calm, reassuring, communicative, and knowledgable advocate for me. He and his awesome wife Gretchen went above and beyond in offering me advice and connecting me to resources and services to help get my house into good selling shape. My wife, Kayla, and I could not recommend Michael enough if you're looking for someone to support you in the homebuying process.
Michael was patient, thoughtful, responsive and intentional in how he went about supporting us in this endeavor, both while we were looking for a home, and once we identified the home we wanted to purchase.

My husband and I were referred to Michael through a friend when we started looking for our first home to buy in Tacoma. Michael helped our friend find a home they love. Years later, my wife looked at a house that Michael was representing. She didn’t know about his connection to our friend until after getting a great impression of his character and professionalism. Years later, we asked Michael to help find our home in Tacoma. We are both from surrounding areas but relatively new to Tacoma specifically. We had the greatest time learning about Tacoma by exploring houses in neighborhoods in all corners of the area. Michael took us to house after house, all the while pointing out the best that Tacoma has to offer.This is our first home. We’d never been through this process and were often unsure of the best practices for success. Michael was the perfect guide. He consistently offered a balanced assessment and perspective of potential homes based on careful attention to our ever-shifting interests, wants, and whims. Through his guidance and knowledge, and the opportunities to explore and reflect on our hopes and potential Michael remained patient and steady. He gave his honest assessment and perspective without attempting to influence our decisions. He helped connect us to other professionals for assistance with financing, inspections, and various other community resources. He communicated clearly and timely, often when we couldn’t.Ultimately, we found a home that met our needs and wants and we’re incredibly happy. I can’t imagine having found another guide with the experience, perspective, professionalism, and personability that Michael showed up with in every interaction. Michael Duggan helped me find the perfect home in Tacoma during the pandemic! We looked at several houses during the summer and fall 2020 while masked up and keeping social distance. I appreciated Michael's knowledge of the home-buying process and his calm way of working. He gave excellent advice when it was time to make an offer (there were multiple offers).When he called to say the sellers accepted our offer, I was thrilled! He and his wife Gretchen gave us the keys to our new home. During our months of house-hunting, I got to know Michael well -- he is thoughtful and responsive and makes time for clients. Duggan Homes was recommended to us as a listing agent for our Fircrest Home. We checked out Michael's current and past listings page and saw the beautiful photographs and read the personal and positive 'story' of each home. We then knew the Duggan Homes real estate team was just what we needed to sell our much loved 'urban homestead' . We met with Michael and Gretchen Duggan and they took copious notes of everything we shared with them. Michael sent his photography and video team to capture the details and the hard work we had put into our home and garden over the years. Once our listing was posted, he was inundated with buyers wanting to see our property as soon as possible. We had 41 viewings the first weekend and several offers over the asking price!
