ZERO STARS!!! I'm very upset with the cashier that helped me on my last visit. Sure she was sweet but she completely fucked me over. I made a large purchase, and when she asked if i had a credit card i said i was unsure and that we could look it up. (at this point im thinking it's just a regular rewards card) after i put my credentials in i ask if i had one. she said "no but we can just sign you up now" it wasn't till the purchase was finalized that she told me it was successful. My entire purchase went on this card and it tanked my credit!!! I am a young girl, I feel like my misunderstanding was completely taken advantage of. Within the process I even told her "no it's okay, i don't want to do this anymore" she responded with "oh please you're being so nice, this will only take a second" then proceeds to waste 7 more minutes of my time! I understand I could've said no, but i did! and it was completely looked over. just gross. This is just disrespectful. I was not told anything about this card besides the fact that i signed up for it, i was given a pan flit after the fact, then was supposed to just carry on with the rest of my day. I am livid and will be contacting corporate, and I will figure out who it was that did this. I feel completely disrespected and taken advantage of.

You can find decent prices on name brand apparel and home goods (furniture/bedding/clothes/accessories).Just double-check the item for issues/factory defects before purchase. At times, these stores are able to get discounted items because 1 item may have had a mark come back from quality control for a blemish, extra stitching somewhere, etc. It may only be one or two items out of an entire batch (or nothing at all and due to prior version/style), so the brand/originator will sell the batch at a wholesale. Equals fair to great deals for all.

Great place for gift shopping. There is always something unique and most things are of a good quality. Bought a bunch of candles as gifts for my employees the other day and was helped by Zoey at the register, she did such a nice job wrapping up the glass items and when I realized I had left one at the store she had made sure to set it aside for me with the receipt and a note attached. Really appreciate the great customer service!

I had an amazing experience at this store! I had to give props to Angel! She rung me up and was so helpful, kind and had a beautiful smile. It’s rare to find amazing customer service like that nowadays.

I love the selection at the Tacoma location. Whoever the buyer for Tacoma is has really good taste! The only complaint I have is the aisle are too narrow and the lines to checkout are too long.

I love this store for the selection and prices. This would be a 5 star review, if it weren't for my experience there today. I went in on a whim after not having been in quite a while. I was there for a couple of specific items, but I found so many great items at great prices I ended shopping for a few hours. I had a cart that I had to reorganize twice due to overflowing.I was there so long, I lost track of time and realized I wouldn't have time to check out and be on time to pick my kids up from school. I explained my predicament to a couple of employees on the floor and asked if they would hold my cart until I came back. They told me it was no problem, and to take it to the front of the store and they could hold it until closing.I brought my cart with easily $600 worth of merchandise (a conservative estimate, and a lot of merchandise at their prices) to the cashier's desk. They also said they would hold it for me until closing, which they said was about 9:15pm. I assured them I'd be back before then. I was going to go right back after picking up my kids, but decided to wait til after dinner since I had plenty of time and at least 3 employees were aware I was coming back. They put my name on it and wheeled it behind the counter.When I arrived at 8:00pm to pay for my shopping spree, I grabbed a couple more items from the in line display and headed to the front to get my cart. To my dismay, they told me that they had taken it and put everything back in the shelves. I couldn't believe it. I was there with plenty of time before closing, and over an hour before the time they said I had to be. I was so frustrated that after spending that time in their store, and prepared to spend a considerable amount of money there, I just left. I wasn't going to go through the whole store again.I'm disappointed that I left empty handed after putting a lot of exciting finds in my cart, but I just couldn't give them my business. I felt they didn't care enough about it to earn it if they were willing to put all that stuff back in the shelf after assuring me they'd hold it for me. I don't know if I'll be shopping with this TJ Maxx again, and I honestly doubt they care.I attached a picture of my overflowing cart. You can't even see all the items I had in it, and quite a bit more was added after the photo was taken. The bottom of the cart was full, too. They lost several hundred dollars worth of my business today, and possibly a once happy customer forever.

My girls daughter worked for them and loved it but doesn't know that there is a certain guideline they have to follow. For so many years she was passed up for promotions they even made up a position to keep her down and it's thier loss, she now has a dream job makes more in the first month now than after 6 years at TJMax and has room to move up at her new job. Personally I don't believe in none of it, who said that because your born on earth you have to pay for everything then after working to death then the government moves in and takes it all. It time for change, we need to clean house, get rid of the evil
