Disappointing experience: pool closing.
The pool was scheduled to be closed today, and the appointment was set for 9am as my husband had taken the morning off to be present, by 9:20am no one had arrived so I contacted the company to inquire as I understand things happen and being late 10-15 min while not ideal, it happens but when I call and your reason for being late is “due to weather vehicles take longer to warm up but they are on their way” an hour goes by and no one shows up or calls to update time slot. I simply contacted company to cancel the appointment as I feel that my time is not valued and ill just take my business elsewhere.

I just moved to the area about a month and a half ago, and needed someone to clean our pool (an understatement; see pictures). I reached out to all of the pool services that I could get a hold of in the area and ended up getting an Acid Wash through Blue Lagoon!
I appreciated their straightforward communication and I'm very satisfied with my clean pool! I swim in it every day.

We bought our Artensian Elite Spa from Blue Lagoon for Christmas 2024.. We simply love it!
Brandy and Andrew are the very best in their service to their customers! They are a wealth of knowledge which they readily share .. We are older so getting a new spa seemed exciting but challenging.. Brandy and Andrew made all the difference in the world! Although it snowed hard the day of delivery combined with our steep driveway our Artensian Spa was delivered and set up ready for family fun during Christmas..Since then we have had the most amazing support/customer service as we learn how to care for our new Spa..We are thankful we decided to buy from them!

They are dishonest. Bought a expensive 4500.00 hot tub from them and they set up 2 different times to deliver it and called and said they are running behind and not going to be able to make it. Told them that we weren't in a hurry so just give us a call whenever they could deliver it. They sold the hot tub and won't give us our money back. Said that we abandoned it when they never delivered it like they were suppose to. Liars is all they are, horrible horrible people. To sell a hot tub to a family, suppose to deliver it and never did then sell it to someone else and not return our money. Sad that they can keep 4500 from a family. Not good practice for local small business...very sad.
In response to your response Blue Lagoon...You might have had hot tub for 18 months but we bought it in June 2023 and you sold it again in August 2024. We've been disagreeing about this since August of 2024 to today.
Your husband came to our house to verify were we wanted to place the hot tub 4 months after we bought it. He then had scheduled with us 2 different times in the fall/winter and months apart to deliver it and called both times in the late afternoons and said he wasnt going to make it, after I scheduled time off and waited for him both times all day. After the 2nd time of canceling we told him that whenever it was convenient for him to deliver it, just give us a call. He agreed and told us you guys had moved the hot tub to the very back of your shop and it was hard to get to. We weren't in a hurry to get the hot tub due to being in construction of our home burning down and you guys knew this.
You guys never contacted us to redeliver, you never called us to redeliver, you never sent us a letter to redeliver. You new were we lived, you knew our phone number.
We seen the hot tub posted on market place for sale and immediately came to Blue Lagoon to find out what was going on and you told me that you guys had sold it the prior week. You told me you guys had no way of getting in contact with me. You and your husband both have several text messages with me, he had been to our house and knew were we lived, you knew who we were, and knew my phone number. You had my name, number and address in your computer system as a customer that purchased the hot tub along with several purchases of pool supplies.
Yes you offered us a store credit but we did not purchase a store credit, we purchased a particular red corner Coast spa included delivery and did not deliver, you sold it a 2nd time to someone else.
Do you think that it's right to not return our money on a hot tub that you guys failed to follow thru on???
We paid cash for a particular hot tub, you canceled delivery twice, we told you to contact us when convenient for you to deliver and you agreed, you never contacted us to deliver, and you sold it. You failed us as a customer and dont want to do the right thing.
You have threatened us several times in text messages if we dont remove our reviews and we will not because the public has the right to know how dishonest and unfair you are and you should be ashamed as a small local business.

Seems like really nice people until there was an issue!

After a horrible experience with another local pool contractor that ended in a lawsuit which we won, by chance we found Andrew and Brandy when we went to pick up our English cream golden retriever from Brandy by the way she has amazing puppies check out her website or catch her at the store. Ok back to the review, we almost gave up on our dream but thankfully we gave them a chance. They are just wonderful people and great at what they do. It is rare these days to find owners that work as hard as Andrew and Brandy they personally came out on Memorial Day weekend so our kids could swim the following weekend don’t hesitate to get our phone number from Brandy so we can share our experience .

We have had a pool for 15 years now. We call our pool guy to open are pool. This includes taking off winter cover cleaning the pool filling with water and shocking it. He comes back next day clean a little more. Then a few days later he checks the acid and clohrine levels tells us to keep cleaning should be fine to swim in tomarrow. Our regular pool guy sold his business to Blue Lagoon they showed up peeked under the cover called Doug and told him your water is to low to turn on what the hell how stupid!! The left didn't even take the top off. I quess Doug and I will have to do it.

I came in for liquid chlorine and told them about my issue with my “swampy pool” after it rained and she sold me 3 products and told me exactly how much to use and in which order, was super helpful since I’ve never had to do this before. Pictures are taken 3 hours apart. Impressed with the service.

At first the vibe was good. He asked what are budget was we told him about 10,000 so we found one about 14,000 he asked if we were paying cash and we told him we were looking to finance. My husband grabbed some of the sells brochures, as he was getting the information for us he told my husband these are more high end do you need those because they cost me about 4.00 each.... excuse me? I was lucky to have been in the bathroom or he would have heard it, we will take our 14,000 finance check somewhere else.

They do our every other week hot tub maintenance for the last 2 years. No more! The broke our cover holder and the latches on our cover and never said anything. I have emailed, sent pictures and called, I have heard nothing from them and it has been over a week. I do not recommend.

Terrible experience. I asked for proof of installation of new equipment repeatedly but never received replies.Two different pool company representatives advised that the equipment is undersized for the size of the pool and the location respecting the distance the water has to travel. They offered that the equipment could be used.Also, the filters that were in place were functioning perfectly and didn't need to be replaced and were replaced with undersized filters that are too small for the water pressure and when backwashed the force of the water is going to be detrimental to not only the equipment but to the location receiving such force.Overcharged, little to no follow up, poor communication, and possibly installed used equipment.

Welp yelp, here's an update. Our pool was losing 2 inches of water A DAY. Pool has been drained so we can replace the liner AGAIN. And there it is. A hole under the steps due to faulty installation. Wish I would have had this photo when we WON a judgement against them. I'm sure we would have been awarded more than$1550. BUYER BEWARE

Business open hours stated they were open until 3pm. Made a special trip from over an hour away only to find out that no one was there at 1pm. No note on the door saying they were gone....No one answering the phone. How can you do business if you're not open during your posted business hours? Thanks for the wasted trip
