We refinanced in order to do a title elimination. We were told they would do it. We paid for all the costs associated with the task. The title didn't get eliminated. We have an escrow account to pay for taxes and insurance. They didn't pay it. They have excuses for everything. By far the worst experience ever! If you want everything screwed up and have to do their job this is the place to go! Their word means nothing! We would have saved money and hassle leaving our mortgage through the original lender! Never use people's bank

Worst banking experience I have ever had. After moving to the area for a new job I tried to start an account to support a local bank as I always do. Instead of being welcomed as a costumer, I was immediately treated like a criminal because I used an out of state check to start my account. Even after the check had cleared ( meaning they physically had my money), they had contacted my previous institution, and I had started a direct deposit, they still refused to remove an excessively long, seemingly punitive hold off of my account. A manager there even doubted I had the funds after the funds were in their possession. I have lived in many placed and used many banks and I have never had an experience this bad, stay away from this bank. I used Wheatland bank while I was in the Wenatchee area and I was treated great by them.

We got a home mortgage loan and were assured we would make in house payments confirmed twice by the loan officer then next thing we were making double mortgage payments to JP Morgan Chase. Closed accounts at Peoples Bank and will refinance with Washington Trust Bank. Would not recommend Peoples Bank.
