I have used them for motor replacement and a transmission both turned out great. No problems at all. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great repair at a good price.

I had my power steering looked at and had stop leak put in to prevent another expensive service repair and was quoted 1,200.00 to replace the power steering pump. The charge for just putting in stop leak, which didn't work was 84.33. I called another garage for an estimate and they quoted me 600.00. I'd say that is quite a difference and being on a fixed income, it's unethical to take advantage of the people that can afford it the least.

Had great experiences in the past! They used to communicate well and were quick to get you in. They've done such a great job in the past too.Lately they won't even answer back to texts! You call their main number and it goes to voice mail and says to text. So then you text the number to get a time and date to bring your car in and no one responds for several days if even that. They obviously don't need your business and have probably filled their slots up with bigger money projects. It's sad that most shops around here are moving towards the bigger money, quicker projects.

First time here. I had a time sensitive repair and they squeezed me in. They did a thorough job and I'm confident it was all done right. Everyone here I talked to has been coming here for years because of the consistently reliable service they get. I would absolutely come here again!

Great place. Just had maintenance done and they did a great job. And were very knowledgeable and texted me my inspection report. Took good care of me.

My brakes went out on a road trip from Canada to San Diego and I called a dozen shops to get them to look at my car to no avail. One said he could squeeze me in in Sept (over 2 weeks). Jamie said they could look at it right away. Got it in at 9 AM, they diagnosed the problem (brakes & rotors) and had me out by about 1:30 PM. That really saved my bacon. Everything works fine. Highly recommend!

They are overpriced but punctual. They do okay work but have a tendency to leave some things unfinished such as coolant. I was in a bit of a quandary and needed work ASAP and had them work on my wife's car. Only to find out they neglected to put more antifreeze back into it before my wife left the shop. I will not bring any vehicle back to them. I'd rather pay the premium price of the dealership.

Moving to the Tri-Cities somewhat recently, one of my biggest concerns in finding new services was locating an auto repair shop as competent/ethical/communicative/fair value as my Seattle fave. After trying a neighbor's recommended mechanic and not loving it, I gave West Richland Auto Repair (WRAR) a try based on its Yelp reviews. The five-star reviews are well-deserved. I initially took my car to WRAR for an oil change and check-up. I was impressed by the team's friendliness and efficiency and the waiting area's cleanliness. They texted me a full status report of the condition of my car, prioritizing items needing repair by color and with estimated pricing. We agreed on what to do that day and what to save for another time. My car was ready for pick up around the time they'd originally estimated. Given the great communication with WRAR and the reasonable pricing, I chose to have them complete a major repair. They did a great job, finished within the parameters they'd originally set despite the record-breaking heat and followed up a week later to see how everything was working. West Richland Auto Repair is now my go-to for all things car. Questions about where I should take my car for a windshield repair? I called them for a recommendation. Same with a trailer hitch installation. Super helpful!

My first experience with this repair shop. I received a quote for a head gasket replacement on my Subaru, it seemed really high, so I called one of my other trusted auto shops - and he said these guys are honest, and their repair quote was correct. Jamie did a great job, kept me posted on the status, and the price came in right as quoted. Also, they loaned us a car to use for the several days, at no cost. Very happy with these guys, they seem to be an honest little local family shop- and have a great reputation in the community.

I believe Jamie and his crew are a cut above the rest. They do I great diagnostic service and keep you informed throughout the repair process. He won't put in cheap parts as he guarantees the work for 3 years/36,000 miles! Who else does that in town? Thanks to Sandy for the ride home. This place is run the way it use to be 50 years ago, with respect, honesty, and integrity with a goal of a great job and minimal inconvenience to the customer. Kudos to all of you! Thanks Jamie for texting me and asking if I was happy with the work done. This guy cares!

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and quality work performed on my 2002 Jeep. My car drives like it's brand new. For 7 years, I was taking my Jeep to a place that didn't even come close to the comprehensive diagnostics that these guys performed. I found the price reasonable for the amount of work they did. There's a reason why this place is constantly rated high.

Absolutely worst experience with a mechanic ever, three months to replace a 6 volt system to 12 volt didn't do anything they first promised none of the original gauges work now, plus horn stopped working while taking it home wiper switch came loose doesn't work radio barely audible while driving over $3000 paid to them. Out of oil and water basically did the bare minimum do not take you Classis car to them.

I'm new in the Tri-Cities and didn't know where to take my car. I asked around to my father-in-law's circle of friends and they all recommended West Richland Auto, even the guys who normally work on their own cars. That was all I needed. We've been thrilled with our service. They also recently saved me a ton of money over what the dealership wanted related to "add-on" services connected to a recall. West Richland Auto is the place to go.
