I'm sharing my experience respectfully, so I hope I will be honored with the same respect to be listened to & taken into a good account of doing better & right. They canceled both my orders for today. I had over $800+ food that my babies & I needed. Now I have to wait a week or 2 to get food cause of having it wait on the charge on my card to be refunded even though they say it wasn't charged it actually was on my end whether it showed it on theirs or not. I also can't get anyone to ever answer the phone. Their customer service shuts down early which is horrible too cause most people work every day of the week & sometimes weekend too & don't get off work until late in the evening or night. I was put on hold by the manager Michael but he never came back to the phone or called me back to let me know if they was going to be able print off the list & set the stuff I had to the side saying I had to come in to get it all & shop for the rest when I shouldn't have to if they have pickup available which saves me time & also the simple fact that its alot of food & that takes way more than an hour to get but hours to get at the store after waiting hours to go get food that I had ordered online which is an hour away drive. $800+ food & the manager was saying more than half wasn't in stock which I know is not true if you have seen how much $800+ of food is... I also had bought items in the store maybe a month ago almost now. They did not discount a repackaged box of wipes that didn't have the right amount & it had 6 packs instead of 9 packs for the full amount price. I haven't got a refund & I havent got my 3 packs of wipes. I have been there 3 times now & haven't been taken care of. & I'm very upset my order was cancelled. I feel like where they was under staffed they didn't want or feel like getting my order cause it was so large. At this point I'm gonna just get a refund cause I'm sick of how this place is ran & sick of everyone's bad character & not taking care of responsibilities & their customers needs. I'm guessing they don't care & that's fine but if that's the case they need to go work somewhere else to work, but either way customer service matters & your character & how you handle things too. I have over 14+ yrs in customer service with 2 certificates & even I know better & know this should've been handled better. I'm calling corporate cause this place is getting rediculous. I spend way over $800-$1000 each month at this store. I guess another Kroger will get my money or another store. I really don't care if someone hates me or doesn't like over this, but there will be no discrimination at me over my personal experience I'm sharing so hopefully I'm not mistreated or mocked over sharing this but to me this is extremely important cause you're costing the company its customers & money. It's simple, learn & do better by your customers, employees esp if your short handed, & to yourself by doing right.

Just called the seafood dept. to ask about getting a special order for sea bass, and Alec was great help... said the manager who orders would be back Monday, and orders have to be placed by noon to get it by Thursday... Sam's Club doesn't have it and can't get it here... thanks Kroger!

Walked into the store right through the outside door and it smelled like rotten meat and walked into the store it's self and it smelled so much worse so I went to go get my bread and went to the meats to get meats I just about gagged cause the whole meat dept smelled like rotten meat and as we decided to leave we told the manager upfront and he said what part of the meat department and we told him all of it. And he just stood there. The Kroger on Harper Rd is so clean and never had this issue there never smelled anything bad or nothing. So Guess Harper Rd location I won't make no more trips to this one cause it gets a 0. They need to do better with this and act like they care... Especially the management.

This is the good Kroger.
Avoid the one in Oak Hill.
I drive 15 miles each way to this Kroger INSTEAD of 1 mile to the one in Oak Hill
Great store here!

Krogers is a fine chain grocery store.
It offers the consumers a variety of goods and services like many other large chains. The difference seems to be the service. Most employees are friendly and very helpful. The price point is ok at best but as we all know at this time Inflation caused our Grocery bill to rise over 25% because of COVID and it is slowly decreasing.
We as Americans enjoy the lowest food costs and greatest selection of any nation on earth.
Most consumers are not aware that grocery stores work on a very small mark up compared to other retailers.Kroger seems to be doing a good job supplying us consumers with fresh wholesome food stuff.
So as the media ad use to say
"Let's go KROGERING the happy way to shop"

Shopping experience today was possibly the worst I have ever experienced in all my 40 years. Person working the deli had absolutely no ability to comprehend. Told them several times of the ham I wanted and when I told them I wanted a 1/4 lb, it was as if they completely shutdown. Had no idea what I was talking about, they asked if it was more than 1 1/2 lb. I was completely dumbfounded. Then went to checkout this person was something else. Very slow and not polite at all. After they finished ringing up my groceries they just sat there. I asked are you going to bag the groceries? The response.....no that's not my job but you can. I was completely mortified. What is the hiring and training process nowadays and where do these people come from? Management really needs to start watching their employees and take corrective action and retrain. Before the actions of the staff starts to drive business away.

Every time I go to use the money services at Kroger, I get there, and there is always a sign up saying they are closed at this time. During business hours. I've been there at 3 to 4 times and this has happened. I always leave there mad. I just need a money order. It's always something with this particular Krogers.

Was able to find most of what I needed. Apples didn't look as good as usual, though, and matzoh ball mix was out of date.

WHY IS IT EVERY TIME I RIDE THE BUS TO MY LOCAL KROGERS AND UTILIZE THE SERVICE DESK. ITS CLOSED FOR THE DAY!AT 2:28PM. At 3pm AND NOW AT 4:30 pm !I only come on Mondays or Tuesdays. This happens every time I come here for a money order or to pay AEP BILL ! There’s 3 employees out side smoking several inside at register EVEN cashiers SITTING DoWn. !!! The Mgr just said it’s closed for the day and couldn’t give me a reason why. I told him it was urgent. I needed to pay Bill he said yep it’s closed. I wouldn’t be upset if this wasn’t the third time I’ve wasted an entire trip on bus to be turned away. Employees everywhere doing nothing !!! Management is a joke here. This location has the laziest staff I’ve EVER Seen. All Facts !!!
