Gave 2 stars because they did get it done but just bought a new washer was willing to pick up but was told it would be 2 days out to pick up when it was only one for delivery. First day the people show up can’t speak ANY English and not even in a lowes truck but a budget rent a truck. The box is severely damaged and there’s a big dent in the bottom of the washer. Again the communication barrier comes up as the guy just says “problem” and points and just hands his phone to my wife whos now talking to his dispatch. We ended up having to wait another day so they can bring another new one. Same guys come. They don’t understand what the order meant by take the old one back so my wife is stuck gesturing to them to take the old one. They get the new one in and don’t even turn it on to test. Thankfully it seems to be functioning. They really should have at least one person that can communicate.

This store is getting 5 stars based solely on one person, Jeremy who works in the Garden Center. He was extremely helpful which cannot be said for the rest of the store. I found myself "hunting" for help while shopping in other areas but Jeremy welcomed me right off the bat and answered my questions. He even helped me with peat moss and a very heavy birdbath. I will most certainly return as long as he is working. I recommend going straight to the garden center and ask for him. He will find the help you need no matter where it is in the store.

You know, if you don’t staff your loading zones, things go missing. And maybe the cost of hiring enough people to help customers would be cheaper in terms of loss prevention. Just throwing that out there.Today a customer asked 3 times; there was a pregnant lady, a disabled lady, an 80 year old woman with a broken foot & an old man trying to load their respective trees, 5x5’ hardwood picket fences and lumber.

This store is terribly understaffed, and we always dread coming here but it’s sometimes the only game in town; Tractor Supply & Rural King don’t always have EVERYTHING. But we came here today and I have updated my 1 star rating because this guy Jonathan came out & helped us with our pick up order even as the app wasn’t working, the website wasn’t working — Jonathan saw us and came up to help immediately, thereby solving the whole problem. Too bad there aren’t more guys like him working here.

Don't not buy any Appliances from here if your a Single female parent.My daughter bought a washing machine paid cash.Had it Delivered and hooked up by Lowe'sShe washed one load and second load it stopped.WOULD NOT WORK.Call Immediately was told A repairman will be there in a week. Repair man came and said it was a water pump and he would order it. Told her to call in one week she called in 1 week and a person said oh we have problems with this machine everything's backward might be four to six weeks to get it in.My daughter bought the extended warranty 3 years and asked them can you just bring me another machine and you take this one. She was told call the marker of this washer she did NOTHING happen. LOWE'S told her it was hers. Because she all ready had it over 48 hours..LOL it there fault she couldn't get anyone from there repair company to come out. So I'm guessing she is SOL .

Love Lowe's. What able to purchase a new toilet for our bathroom remodel. Originally, $279 marked down to $199. You can usually find some great deals. If you are in need of new appliances, be sure to check out the clearance section. We picked up a really good washer and dryer for 1/2 price, and they are great.

The local Lowes is a pretty good store. Most employees r friendly. The main reason I gave a 3 star is because 95 percent of the time when needing help it takes awhile to receive it!! But a pretty decent store over all..

This place is a nightmare. Time and time again it just gets worse and worse, you ask for help and wait and wait ask multiple times and nobody ever comes to help. It would seem to me if you have a business providing a service to the public you would do what you needed to at least somewhat meet that expectation but apparently not at the beckley wv lowes! Gary goes to lunch before 11 apparently.

Purchased a GE brand washer and dryer from beckley lowes and unfortunately had to return the same brand washing machine twice within 3 days due to what im assuming was a manufacturer defect. When we called GE customer support they were of no help and would not send a technician or even offer to try and give us any assistance in figuring out what could be wrong with the unit. Finally decided to return the GE set and go with a different brand and was helped and treated extremely well buy the assistant manager of the store. Thank you! Oh and if your looking to buy a front load laundry system the LG units are working just fine and are a lot quieter than the GE ?

On 6 Nov 2022, 2 incompetent individuals delivered & made a sorry attempt to install a gas stove for my 81 y.o. grandmother. They had advised her that she needed some sort of adapter which she agreed to leave & purchase. After they realized another individual was in the house (myself) they then stated one was located & that she no longer needed to get one. Later that night, I was hit with the worst headache I've ever had. After 72 hours of being confined to a dark bedroom, I noticed a heavy gas smell omitting from the "newly installed" oven. Long story short, the gas company had to come out for the awesome gas leak caused by 2 persons who have zero business installing appliances. They DID not have the adapter they claimed to have which could've gotten many people killed. If there had been a spark of any sort in this house, I wouldn't be writing this review right now & my neighbors would be blown away as well. To put a cherry on top of what COULD'VE been a complete tragedy to say the least, I'm 6 months pregnant & suffer from traumatic brain injury due to previous combat deployments as a dog handler... pretty disgusting, to put things lightly. Whoever those 2 persons are, action should be taken ASAP to avoid a future explosion. This type of negligence is completely unacceptable! I HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere if you like a job well done.

Two bad experiences in a row at Beckley Lowe’s. First involved them not taking a week old return because there was a speck of rust on the paint can lid and this time there were no cashiers at all so was forced to use the computer checkout which can not process military discount. Not everyone wants to use the self checkouts. Not everyone wants to see people lose their jobs to these machines. I refuse to use them. The manager said no one wants to work which sounds like a Lowe’s problem not a Lowe’s customer problem.

Customer service can't be beat. Had large online order that was delivered the next day, never had that happen before. Was missing one item that was supposed to be in stock. The delivery driver said the system said they had it but couldn't locate it. So I drove to the store to cancel the missing item. When I got there customer service rep told me the same thing. So they offered me an alternative which was a great deal. This Lowe's has always had excellent customer service.

I love the variety here. They offer pretty much everything from lumber to plants. But without ever finding someone that knows where a specific item is or finding my own way, I spend more time than necessary. Most employees are at least friendly, most...If it's too warm for customers, imagine how uncomfortable it is for the employees! Yes, it's a warehouse type hardware store, indoor lumberyard, and garden center, but it is supposed to be climate controlled.I do prefer to shop locally, but with gas prices still high, I can't afford to go the local hardware or lumber stores. So, big box Lowe's it is.
