I was there this morning getting IT foundation, Nars powder and IT blush trio...easily 125.00. I stood at the register for 5 minutes and a worker was 5 (FIVE!) foot from me putting away stuff. She looked at me and never acknowledged me. Finally I put the stuff down and walked out the door and went to Sephora (literally next door in the same plaza at Kohls). Poor customer service!

SALON: I moved here almost exactly a year ago from the suburbs of Chicago, and I went to a salon in Beckley. They did an okay job. I’m not a picky person. It was decent.After that, I absolutely neglected myself due to life getting in the way of taking care of my personal needs. My fault. Totally forgot that Ultas everywhere had salons; made an appointment, & was set up with Haley, who turned out to be a LIFESAVER. Coming from a big city, having someone who did my hair on a regular basis who I was comfortable with, it was nerve-racking to find someone in a smaller town who could fit my needs. Not to mention, I’d let myself go. Haley was patient, more than knowledgeable about the industry, her field, products, & she was up-to-date on all training. She made me feel extremely comfortable. My anxiety has been through the roof with life in general, and it was nice to have something turn out stunning!! She went above & beyond! While waiting for my hair to process-we had small talk and she didn’t leave me hanging. She’s an all-around great person in general, and my hair turned out amazing! The staff at this location is wonderful, 5 stars!

Ok, I'm a girl and I love Ulta. The points I have is slightly embarrassing. So Ulta is one of my happy places. I was so happy to see one in Beckley. It was clean, the staff was friendly, they had what I needed.

The store itself is of course very nice, everyone is always friendly. I have seen Haley twice now for my hair and she really is just so talented and knowledgeable when it comes to hair, I can't imagine going to anyone else-also so friendly and sweet!

The cashier acted as if He didn't really want to be there! Like I was actually a nuisance and disrupting his day.I was trying to return an item bought for me as a Christmas gift.Actually it was just an exchange for the same item just a different color.I didn't have a receipt or the buyers email. Why would I have that or need it? He said he couldn't let me Do it without a receipt.Finally I just left because it was literally a 8$ item not worth the trouble! I gave 2 stars because it was super busy right after Xmas..

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure they help you find the perfect product. The salon has the most superb service I have ever encountered in my 20 years up getting my hair done. Highly recommend Vanessa, she took her time to make sure all of my requests were met. I will never go anywhere else to have my hair colored and cut.
