So upset. Called around 5 asking if they had a battery for my car, my husband and I just got back to town from a vacation (we are pretty sure battery is on last leg) Man I spoke with I think his name was Mike said they had the battery in stock and they were open until 9PM (usually it wouldn’t be such a rush but I have an important OBGYN appointment tomorrow to make sure baby is ok) so we got there about 8:45PM and lights were off and doors were locked. Super lame. Thank you for causing a pregnant woman a panic attack.

I've used this Advance Auto for years with no issues, but in recent months everytime I call the store I end up on hold for at least 10 minutes before I hang up.

I have used this store a few times in the past. I am not knowledgeable about cars, but the staff has been friendly and answered my questions. The last time I was at the store I was helped by a friendly gentleman who recommended me solutions even if his store did not sell that item.

My battery died, so I took my car to get the battery checked. The guy didn’t 100% appear to know what he was doing, but the device said my battery was good. I asked if the fact my car was on while he was checking made a difference, and he said no. I ended up having to take it to a shop to get evaluated. Turns out it was the battery, and I ended up being charged $330 for them to change it. After researching, the battery should have been tested with the car off, and knowing my battery had just died, it should have checked the cranking AND alternator, but he didn’t. I wish I knew this before, but you kinda just expect places that offer these services to know what they’re doing. Thanks for costing me a ton of money bc your employees didn’t know how to do their job.

Wow Christian helped me when I couldn't figure out why the car kept dying. The CSRs tested the battery and alternator, both were good. Then noticed a spark on the positive terminal. I needed new battery terminals.I used to get in the zone, but now I'm more advanced.

Shawn took my key remote, removed the battery, and found its replacement. He put my key remote back together with the new battery, checked me out, and I was out the door in just minutes. His customer service was five star. highly recommended this auto parts store.

Customer service is the worst of all the auto stores I’ve been to. Autozone on mountaineer blvd is miles better.
