Passing through on a road trip and decided to check it out, best decision we could have made. We were instantly greeted by the most friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable individual at the counter who directed us to exactly what we were looking for. All the customers/regulars at the table were very welcoming as well, indicating how clearly the Game Grove fosters a warm, community-driven environment. We poked around and bought a few things, and upon checkout we were even invited to assist their PTCG tournament, which was super thoughtful, and made us sad because we live too far away to participate. The nicest game shop I've ever visited, beautiful atmosphere, great prices, we will absolutely go back if the opportunity arises.

This store is a wonderful service to the gaming community. Everyone was open and welcoming. We used the game library to find a quick game to enjoy while other members of our party browsed. Other gamers came over and talked to us, and asked us about the game we were playing. Love to see a thriving community center.

Me and my partner come here twice a week and it's partially for the games and mostly for the people. They do their best to make everyone feel welcome here and it is such a positive environment. It's become a second home to me and I've made so many friends that I wouldn't have met if I hadn't started coming. Whether you're really into table top games, tcgs, wargames, or even if you just want to socialize, they'll have something for you.

As a foreign person living in America not knowing anyone, I was made to feel so welcome & I have never felt any different than anyone else. I have been coming to the store now for 10 months & I still love it, there is everything for everyone here not just the geeks (like I 1st thought)

A very friendly and amazing game store. Super helpful and wonderful. I am a part time wheel chair user and when I am in my chair they are always willing to help me either get things or to get in and out of the store. Aisle ways are wide and kept clear so when in my chair I can navigate around. The bathroom is big enough for me to get the chair in and turn it completely around. Super friendly and welcoming and real fun events on the regular. They make you feel more like family than a customer. War game group is welcoming to beginners and they helped with moving my stuff around the board since when I was in chair I couldn't reach all of the board. Highly highly recommend the grove to anyone looking for a gaming spot. They are inclusive, welcoming, and safe.

I'm from out of town, so I hopped over for the Saturday commander play. The stock of game supplies (especially Gamegenic) was incredible! There was a full wall of pre-con commander decks, a display case of Gamegenic stuff, and a variety of board games and other stuff. The staff were really friendly and helpful! The best part was that everyone I met there was really kind, and the group I played with was a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend this place to new players and seasoned players. When I visit WV again, I'm for sure making another visit.
