I’m not sure if this gets posted as a new review or it just gets updated. Either way, great folks who run a great place. I highly recommend them.
A year after my last review and I’m still going there. Friendly, helpful, competent people. Unless they close, I’ll keep going there.

Have been a customer, now, for 27yrs, so I do believe, that alone tells my thoughts !!!!! They have always been there to help in any way possible to keep my 6-7 vehicles, over that time frame, in good condition, with both routine maintenance and those untimely issues that we all have with our cars :) They advise when they see things that will need attention soon and talk through any possible options on current needs. Again, 27 years for someone that doesn't wait long, if not satisfied, tells everyone what they should know about Jay's Automotive! They have been there to help me with current vehicle getting to, now over 210k miles.

Stellar service! I'd taken my Toyota FJ Cruiser to our usual shop for a problem. They said they didn't know what was going on with it, but that I should just buy a new transmission. 😒
Thought I'd get a 2nd opinion and called Jay's Automotive.
The mechanic patiently listened as I described what was going on and told me that he knew exactly what was happening! I dropped it off that evening after hours. The following day he called with an estimate that was literally under $50 and the work was done that day.
I found an honest shop that didn't overcharge for labor or suggest additional unnecessary repairs. Here's your problem, fixed, done.
I wish I could give more stars!
Thank you Jay's Automotive! Possibly the last honest auto shop out there and I'm a customer for life! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nothing but great things to say about our experience. The staff and technicians at Jay's automotive were professional, kind, and thorough. They were prompt and clear in communicating with us. Pricing was also fair. We'll be using them as our regular mechanic going forward.
