After shopping mortgage rates with a couple of big national lenders, I checked with Victorian Finance, which my realtor had suggested. Their rates were substantially better than the others, with very competitive closing costs. Joey Starcher was very easy to work with, and kept the process moving super quickly. I had a longer closing period so was not rushed, but the appraisal was scheduled and done within the first week or so, and underwriting not much after that. Even though I had time before closing, it was much less stressful to know there weren't going to be any hiccups in the process so I could just focus on packing and getting ready for the move.
