The staff was great but the vet was a jerk. He pretty much tried to guilt me for rescuing 3 feral cats and give them a life. Then my rottie was on her death bed from cancer and they refused to see her because it was his surgery day. I was livid. Now we go to rock lake veterinary. Not the emergency hospital. They are amazing and caring.

I used to work here and I got fired because the owner was scared that the dogs would bite me, which is complete bullshit because I handled those dogs with Care and someone lied that I pulled a dog's tail when I never did you know what's funny I was only working there three days. It seemed fun because I like working with animals but then nope sorry again let you go. I'm bullshit. What was the true reason I want to know the fucking reason but anyways, I did get some cute pictures of the animals so here my favorite is the cat

I don't have a review I'd just like to say I'm looking for a place to have my puppy shots and checked I don't think I'm going to Avalon it seams like a lot of people and pets have been treated wrong....thank you all for the comments

I waited a long time to post this, but back in 2019, I lost my cat. I had to put him down due to fleas basically killing him, and the vet there was the biggest prick I've ever dealt with. I felt so rushed; the guy basically hurried me to put my cat down, and time was not something I felt I had to say goodbye. They took my cat into a room without me being there and just brought him outside to me in a brown bag. No heartfelt goodbyes, no soothing my cat, just this guy rushing me. I'll never get that time or justice back.

I've never had a long wait. They get me in quick when I need an appointment. The people that work there are great and very helpful when I have questions.

Saw our puppy before other vets could get us in. Appreciate that so much. Friendly staff. Met two different vet that work there and both were nice and seemed knowledgeable. No waiting, seen on time. Will return . A little disappointed that they were not in on Fridays. But there is an emergency number posted on the door.

I got some cats dropped on my doorstep, the vet was able to see the cats and help me without breaking my budget to badly. Will always go back there because of their love and understanding of pet owners and lovers!

Never again will I take an animal to this office. They claimed nothing was wrong with my cat and argued with me when i told them something was wrong, then i took him to a real vet his sugar was so high he could have died. Ran $200 worth of tests and never checked his blood sugar to tell me he was diabetic.

Called multiple times during regular business hours and couldn't get an answer to my calls or my pet scheduled. Never had problems getting an answer before. Don't know what happened to this place.

Left several messages. Never had anyone to return my calls, over several days. Ended up taking my pets elsewhere. It's a shame. I've loved them in the past. I don't know what happened.
